Lovely staff, decent food and coffee. The bar area is really dog friendly and no one bats an eye at our two maniac toddlers.

Usually staff are lovely especially the manager. However a young lass 5ft e dark hair pony tail has one of the worst attitudes iv come across....sorry you cant smile or be nice. ..

Went here for dinner on New Year's Day. Firstly, service was top notch. Staff were all excellent. The food was very good; everyone really enjoyed it. I had the Calamari for starters which was very tasty. I then had the Dirty Burger for main. Really good burger with pulled beef and bacon etc.Didn't have room for dessert. 😃.All in all..... Thoroughly recommended!Update... Another review..Went back here in July 21. Was lovely to sit outside in the evening Sunshine. The lamb koftas were very tasty as a starter. Then the slow cooked belly pork was fantastic...Service was really good, and they seem to have excellent COVID protocols in place.Again... Thoroughly recommendedFurther review: went here for Sunday dinner in January 22.Everything was excellent! The calamari for starters was delicioso, in a crispy salt and pepper coating.The trio of roasts for main course was outstanding. Really lovely roast dinner with all the accompaniments.Probably not the cheapest dinner I've ever had, but definitely worth it!!

Attended for New Year dinner with my immediate family. Have been before sister and brother-in-law been many times on this evening apart from last year.Found the food to be less than excellent the steak was asked to be cooked medium it turned out to be rare. The squash tarts were not tarts and certainly had no squash in them. Having made our choices off the menu several weeks ago it was disappointing to find out you had run out of something’s. Lovely place. Nice staff and atmosphere - all Christmassy and non alcoholic festive drinks are great! Bit on the pricey side, however for what you get. Food is fresh and tasty though and we would go back.

Popped in with visiting family and pooches for a quick drink. I knew it was dog friendly as we'd seen Kevin Bridges in a few years back with his. Barman said he likes to escape the West End of Glasgow for some peace & quiet as he constantly gets asked for selfies. Nice comfy pub with friendly staff and a decent selection of drinks.

Looking for a dog friendly pub and found this one, the staff were lovely as soon as we had found a seat inside they brought over a bowl of water for our dog. Menu nice selection of items, as we were there early afternoon the lunch menu was also available as the main menu. Very good service and very good portions sizes to. Spaced out seating so felt nice and spacious. Good value and would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Good value, proper pub food. Really enjoyed the mini crème brûlée I had. (more places should offer mini deserts!)

Not my first visit, previous ok but today shocking service. Placed my lunch order waited 30 mins and had to ask staff for explanation. Was given apology and told waiter had forgotten to action my order completely. No discount or compensation offered. I was actually asked if i still wanted the order, that's how long it took. I understand having bad days, we all have them but this was unacceptable service. ☹

For a Sunday roast, I would definitely suggest going when the food service starts so it's nice and fresh.The food is lovely. The calamari was cooked really well. We also had the chocolate ale cake (delicious) and the rhubarb and apple crumble (perfect).The crumble. Good, solid, large chunks of apple. Not overly sweet, nice crumble topping. Best crumble I've ever had. Really impressed with this.Can't fault the service. Our waiter was really attentive and lovely.Pub has a nice ambience and decor. Lovely views. Definitely a pub to stop by for some food and drink.
