The Ginger-Bread Man in Argyll & Bute

Just had the Italian Hash Breakfast, it was absolutely scrumptious. I also had a cup of tea which you also get a refill pot. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for Breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming to strangers.

An interesting variation on bread and butter pudding - this had banana and chocolate, accompanied with a refreshing pot of tea.

Owner & barista gave outstanding service. The best coffee I've had in 4 weeks of holiday in the UK (from NZ), imaginative and varietal cakes to accompany. A lot of lovely food churned out of a very small kitchen. Will return to try lunch next. Friendly vibe. Thanks for an excellent experience.

Popped in here after hearing so many good things.Ordered the Kimchi BBQ pork sandwich and a can of coke which the girl serving me couldn't even tell me the price of.The sandwich was super messy but tasted alright apart from there being no kimchi on it and the majority of the pork being on the outside of the bun.I had it as a take away so I'd hope it would all be abit better if I had sat in.

Visited on Saturday evening for their Small Plates and just had wonderful food and great service. Will be going again. Too many nice things to mention other than the truffle honey with the cheese and biscuits. Wonderful. Great food, great value.

Just perfect! Very good coffee, delicious brownies, excellent sandwiches with home-made sourdough bread. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and patient staff. Clean toilet. Loved it!

Excellent service.Brilliant coffee.Amazing roll and bacon, proper roll and bacon, not the two slice variety but the home made style packed with it.And the wee man loved his crosaint.

Amazing proper coffee and local produce crafted into amazing dishes! Really welcoming staff! Not what I was expecting to find up in Scotland. (Im English) A million miles away from a “greasy spoon” and corporate chain churning out bog standard coffee and over priced packet food. Great, family run cafe . We are local and this is one of our favourite places to go. Food is exceptional, coffee and cakes incredible. If you're lucky enough to get a table for one of their pop up nights then well done. Creative and forward thinking food.
