The Glen Bar and Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

I have been staying on the campsite in Carradale and called into the Glen Bar for a pint yesterday. Lovely bar and surprised to get a pint of Guinness under £4. Bar was quite busy at lunchtime serving food which looked good. Decided to go for lunch today. I had seen they did fish and chips on the dinner menu but not lunch menu. I asked and they said yes it was available, just a 20 min wait. It was one of the best fish and chip dinners i have had and the homemade tartare sauce excellent. Highly recommend.

Best steak we both have had. Nice surroundings, good quality food and service. Definitely worth a visit, booking essential as is pre ordering

Handy stop off with nice seats outside, nice food, reasonably priced and friendly service.

Nice bar and restaurant serve food till three then from six. When busy call for reservations. Macaroni cheese and chips . Steak pie chips. Went down a treat. We did ask for no salad and veg . Got what we asked for. Not many places actually give you what you want. Well done

Lovely place place in a great location, popped in for a light lunch last weekend and was really impressed throughout. From the surroundings to the friendly staff, our food was freshly prepared to order and was great. I'd have no hesitation in visiting when I'm in the area again and would gladly recommend The Glen Bar & Restaurant to anyone.

A lovely spot to have lunch. We stopped in to shelter from the weather on our bike ride. We were made to feel very welcome despite being soaked through from the rain. Friendly staff, attentive service and tasty food.
