Nice friendly pub. Wished we had have eaten here rather than the hotel

A picture perfect setting to enjoy a drink overlooking the loch. Great food and a warm welcome, couldn’t ask for more. We enjoyed live music on a Friday night, great atmosphere.

Lovely wee BnB, beds were comfy, staff lovely and friendly, and the breakfast was fab. Our room had a loch view which was beautiful to wake up to each morning. Would happily stay here again!

Staff very friendly and rooms clean and tidy, breakfast is very good with local ingredients. When in the area, will stay again

Had a lovely meal at The Goil was my daughters 40th birthday and Lesley Ann was absolutely fabulous the food was amazing ....would definitely recommend The Goil for a lovely atmosphere and excellent customer service and great food compliments to all who work there

Dire. Pokey room over extractor fan, no view, not even in the restaurant where I was put in the back. Menu appalling [ok if you like everything repacked, fried], nothing fresh, nothing local. Dire. Staff rude and outspoken. Wanted to leave after first night but no control over refunds. Typical large corporation business with no duty to the human.

In a lovely spot on the loch with fantastic views. Pity our room was at the back overlooking the yard. No shower gel or shampoo in room, just a small piece of soap.The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Shannon.Even though we were staying we could not run a tab which was annoying.All in all the stay was fine.

Jamie the “manager” is clearly hating his time working here. Slamming drinks on the counter at us, being generally rude and short tempered. Under poured my spirit measure and didn’t fill my glass correctly.I would avoid this pub, the manager made me uncomfortable and clearly his fellow staff. The one barmaid on stood at the side not saying anything. Awful atmosphere, no sense of a bar team and no sense of a pub! Customers are what bar staff are there for! We are not to be hated!

Food was not great and there was no point having staff as they did not seem interested in looking after customers. Not great. I have never eaten a meal so quickly as we just wanted to leave.

Food excellent, Staff could not have been nicer.There were 7 Adults and 7 children with all different food needs, but nothing was a problem to them.Will be back on our next visit to the caravan park.
