Great value for money, but not so good on customer service. Was ignored whilst at the bar waiting to order. Then someone else approached the bar and was served before me.Had to clear our table (left over breakfast plates). Dirty tables.

Visited this establishment whilst in Scotland. Fish and chips were lovely although they ran out of that meal after the first day. Also ran out of lager.

·

Really stylish, food was very good, fresh beers, friendly and helpful staff, loved it :-)

If I could I would give this place zero stars. An unforgettable experience, but for all the wrong reasons. Understaffed could be part of the reason the service was so bad and the food was horrible as well as being served cold. Quick enough to take your order and your money, but after that staff were completely disinterested. Tables weren't cleaned and there was no check that the premises had registered your presence. Avoid this bar/restaurant like the plague, because it was probably responsible for spreading it. As well as being a big Brexit supporter, is the owner of this chain involved in PPE?

Worst staff in any pub I have ever been to. We all get the Weatherspoon experience but this is a different level. The staff discriminate and except you not to question. Let me explain, I sat there and took 40 minutes to order one glass of one and one cider. I did once more. They then refused to service me because 2 women at my table might of fallen over. (By the way at a table of one man and one woman). I asked if the women were OK. .Long story short not my table and not allowed another drink. I asked for an explanation and got told 'Don't need to get you an explanation 'Bad service with soon much disrespect of customer service. Please don't go there.

Consistently serves drinks and food for the residents of Helensburgh and us interlopers. They serve a fantastic breakfast, Scottish of course and haggis optional, though not to be missed. As an Englishman in Scotland I do enjoy their take on breakfast, you will not go away feeling bereft of food. Staff have been pleasant and welcoming every time and it is a reasurring fact that over six years they have never failed to make us welcome. They do food and drink throughout the day but we're usually off an out by 8.40 but when we have been back early from the Highlands their food/drink has been fantastic. It is a Wetherspoons I am happy to recommend.

Cheap prices OK. My hubbies small fish and chips was disgusting, batter was nearly black, burnt to a crisp and hardly any fish in it, he got 5 chips and a spoon full of mushy peas. I asked for a burger without chips but with onion rings instead, the burger was alright and the onion rings were lovely but over £14 for our so called meal was a bit rediculous. Won't be back and will tell everyone to avoid it like the plague, shame as every other witherspoons we go to is great

I have only visited once, but there is a definite Tardis-feel to this site.It looks tiny from the outside, but is a lot larger than you think on the inside.Usual quality for a breakfast and nice, friendly staff.

I love the eggs Balmoral here at breakfast. Poached eggs on haggis with hollandaise... What's not to love.... Large Scottish breakfast this time. Excellent, and a great price for what you get!On my latest visits, it appears their set-up to make the place COVID safe is very good.Had to have a large breakfast too. 😁Ok... So... Went back again on 31 July. Omg.... They have stopped doing eggs Balmoral. (Eggs with haggis).. was gutted!!Anyway, had eggs Benedict, which turned out to be pretty good

A typical Wetherspoon pub, wide selection of beer and reasonably priced food. Just a minute from the seafront.
