Enjoyed a meal here Sunday evening. There was an hour wait for a table but we expected to have to wait as it's the only restaurant nearby. I enjoyed some veggie pasta (pesto) and my wife had the stuffed peppers. Waiting staff were really friendly. Not the best meal we've ever had but well worth a visit if your staying on Mulll. (Mint desert was awesome if you like mint ice cream).

Food was beautiful but didn't realise untill I checked my bank I was charged £38 for 2x fish & chips and 2 pints. Now I remember noting that fish and chips was £12 so it must be £7 per pint??

I hope when it reopens the owners wake up and realise what matters when you're the only pub in 30 miles. Food quality. Service. Friendliness. This place offers nothing bar a monopoly. Expensive basic food. Rubbish customer service.

Couldn't get waited on. Finally, sat at the bar to try to get attention, and locals just pushed in ahead of us and ordered, as if we were invisible. Food decent; service lousy.

A very nice pub with a restaurant attached. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent you do have to wait to be called in to the restaurant.

We visited this pub twice - the first time we had a lovely young bartender who was very friendly and kind. Sadly the second visit was a disappointment. This bartender was rude and deliberately unhelpful. We wanted to order fish and chips to take out but he told us that the kitchen wasn't yet open and we would have to wait (which was fine). We submitted our order and bought a round of drinks to pass the time. Despite us being the only customers in there he was gruff and short with us during this interaction. He then made the kitchen open early to make our food for us which meant we had to leave our drinks undrunk and leave because we hadn't paid to eat in. All in all it was rather a sour end to our evening. It's a shame because the other occasion was much nicer. I guess it just depends who you get on the day.

Decent food... Restaurant and the bar are two seperate section which i think is good. You can have a drink while you wait!

Friendly staff & owners, great live music nights in the bar. The restaurant is 1st come 1st served so put your name down on the list have a drink and savour the fantastic views over Iona while you wait

For a bite to eat or dinner this is a little gem of a pub/restaurant, especially if you have been island hopping all day. They have at least one vegan option too, which is always nice. The chips are amazing! Proper chips. Takeaway available for a bit of a wait outside while you have a drink. Very reasonable prices too.

The only pub in town, but it does not disappoint. We rode in town late, and still needed a place to eat. The dining area was packed and we were warned that service might take a while. Service was quick though, portions, for haddock and Yorkshire pudding, were more than big enough, and the vegetables with the pudding were very good - especially considering it's a pub.Only pub in town, but they're not slacking.
