Crowded with locals when we visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. Good welcome, comfortable seating. Food was great, I had the Mixed Grill and the plate was full. Super range of beers, wines and cocktails.

The quality of the food, drinks and service in The Lorne is fantastic. Great selection of beers, wines & cocktails. A very varied menu and the food portions are extremely generous. The staff are hugely attentive when you need them.Can't recommend The Lorne enough.

First time we've been to The Lorne due to lockdown. Food was great and staff very attentive and helpful. Toilets spotless. Will be eating there again soon.

Met with family members that I'd not seen fire many years. The guys was excellent as was the service. Despite the continued covid restrictions we did not feel unwelcome or rushed at all. The premises itself is also a nice & welcoming environment. If I'm ever in Dunoon again I shall go here again.

Had three separate evening meals here as I liked the quality, quantity and presentation of the food. The staff were great. Chatty, friendly and good service. Highly recommended. Suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Will definitely return to this restaurant when next in Dunoon.

Lovely food and great service. Highly recommend. The beer garden is beautiful and very comfortable. Hopefully when live music is up and running we'll see The Gator in here singing the blues

Lovely meal in here though they had no diet pepsi/coke when we visited which wS rather disappointing. Couldn't fault the food though was delightful and the staff were friendly

Absolutely fabulous fillet steak with haggis cake and Drambuie/Cream sauce. Followed by delicious cranachan. Down to earth venue, with super friendly staff and excellent food
