We went for lunch on a Sunday. Always book. It gets busy. It's dog friendly too.We say out in the warm sun thankfully and had a relaxing afternoon eating very good food indeed. Oysters with home made bread and butter for starters then meatballs with polenta and roast veg. Ice cream for afters all washed down with a glass of something red and juicy. Yum yum. Service was excellent. I think they have a good reputation and it is well deserved. Although we sat out it looked really comfortable and welcoming inside. It was serving food til five today . Well fish and chips anyway so the sign said. They have WiFi

Lovely location and a welcome drink of cider and tea. Unfortunately this place stops serving food at 2pm which seems odd given the time of day being around lunch time, as witnessed by another passing tourist.. So we can not comment on the food quality, though the menu was very pricey indeed, so avoid if your hungry or even wary of dogs. Yes they have three big dogs walking freely inside. We have no objection to dogs in pubs but these ones seemed aggressive and barked at us when we entered. Not the most enthusiastic welcome if your a little timid and somewhat off putting. However if you want a nice cold drink by the water then its great for this.

Nice pub, beautiful location just at the corner of the road on the water. They have outside seating too, which faces over the water and can watch the sunset.Dogs are allowed both inside and out.Toilets available.Booking is definitely advised for this establishment as they seem to be open adhock hours.I cannot comment on the food, as they weren't serving when we went there. But what I can say is that the hot chocolate is very nice !!!

What a find! Really top spot for a meal. We didn't book which was a mistake place was busy so the team managed to offer us two take away fish and chips. Delicious ...sat beside the loch in the sun. Perfect!

This place is a gem! The location is perfect. If you're boring, you can drive here, but otherwise, ride you bike through the beautiful Cowal Peninsula or sail your boat here through Loch Fyne. There's a great little beach too. Now for the actual Pub; Phoebe and Steve are amazing hosts. The food (and the ale) is local and delicious and the service is wonderful. And as you can see from the pictures they are 100% dog friendly.

The food at this pub was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend stopping here for a meal. The owners are also super friendly. And the pub is dog friendly so our 2 pups had a fab time sleeping while we ate. We had a salmon starter and squid with spicy sausage. Mains we had a big pot of muscles each, forgot to take a pic. But sooooo good. And dessert was a salted caramel chocolate pot and a rhubarb crumble. I felt like I was in a food coma after. Go here if you close by!
