9 of us arrived without booking for lunch. Very friendly and accommodating welcome. Delicious meal and excellent Sicilian wine with lovely fresh baked bread. No dairy free option on kids menu meant 1 family had to go elsewhere.

Popped in for tea and a scone, and both were lovely. The setting is great, the scenery is stunning. Worth our trip in the snow

Really wanted to go somewhere for lunch. We have a 1 year old Springer Spaniel and a lot of places don't accept dogs inside, and there's not many places to choose from in this area of the world. Have been coming to this are for 30years now and have been to the Pierhouse on many occasions. This time however was exceptional. We were allowed to have our dog in the bar area where we had our food private to the other diners with the most beautiful outlook over to Lismore. The food was beyond quality. To say this time of year is quiet there was no holding back on the food, it really was a memorable meal. The service was fantastic and even with masks you could see every member of staff who tended to us had a smile in their face. Will be going back much more frequently going forward and would highly recommend

Staff were lovely, place was spotless and the food was great. If they could have just fixed the weather it would have been absolutely perfect. We stayed dinner B&B for three nights and will certainly be returning. A beautiful area as well and not too busy. A very relaxing atmosphere. We don't have one but dog friendly too. Go, you will not regret it😊

Just the most wonderful hotel. Staff were fabulous and the food was just incredible. The crispy smoked oysters are to die for!My wife took me here as a surprise for my 50th birthday and it was an absolute treat. The location is idyllic with the beautiful island of Lismore a short ferry ride away. Can't recommend this hotel enough! Just brilliant!!

The best views around to accompany some of the best food around! and if that's not enough, offers some great company from the wonderful staff too! Highly reccomend

This is for seafood. There are a couple of meat and vegetarian options but seafood is the speciality. Four of us had lunch. It has to be the best lunch for a very long time if not ever. View fantastic, staff wonderful but the star is the food. We all had scallops as a starter and the sauce was so delicious we asked for more bread to mop it up. I had lemon sole and my wife had fish and chips. Another member of the group had salmon. Everyone was bold over by the taste and quality. We will be back.

What a find! It is known for its seafood but we only wanted coffee and cake. We were certainly not disappointed. The most delicious fruit scones, straight out of the oven, with jam and clotted cream. Highly recommend.

Seafood at its best, traditional cuisine with imaginative twists, served by intelligent, knowledgable and interested waiters and waitresses. The restaurant has a great ambience and has been a memorable part of a wonderful holiday on the beautiful west coast.
