The Strone Inn in Argyll & Bute

Very nice place to sit, eating a Sunday roast, overlooking the Loch. If you have a roast, go for the beef!

This place is true Scotland. As a American that had the privilege to be stationed in Scotland. This was my favorite place to have a Pint and a Gill of Scotch. I sure miss it!

Lovely cosy rural pub, with fantastic food and a premium drinks selection! This includes an excellent selection of wines and ales, which goes beyond what could normally be expected! Dog friendly for food and drinks within bar area. Book well in advance for food to avoid disappointment!

I would highly recommend The Strone Inn. We had a family gathering after we scattered my late mother’s ashes. Linda did a fantastic job providing the meals with Jackie serving. Great teamwork and excellent food.

You get pubs that serve 'Pub Grub' Restaurants that serve food but lack atmosphere, then you get The Strone Inn, where you are greeted like a warm cozy pub and served food beyond Restaurant standards. Make sure you pay it a visit, or you will have missed a treat. From the time you arrive, until the time you leave, you are treated 'special', very attentive and friendly, eager to make sure you enjoy, not only the excellent food but the whole experience. Restaurant quality food, in a cozy pub surroundings! Don't be disappointed make sure you book!! Don't let those in the know get all the dining delights!

Good food at good prices, set in comfortable surroundings,with views out across the loch, plenty on street parking close to hand,...what's not to like ...ideal, down to earth venue, get yourself out there..

Amazing food, great service and the most perfect setting on the water!We had our pre-wedding meal at The Strone Inn and it was truly a night to remember. Stephen and Shaun were great hosts and very attentive! It was the best evening and the food was amazing - Linda's Steak Pie and all of her dishes definitely put a smile on everyone's face. Could not fault a thing! This place is must try if you are stopping by the area!

You'll always get a warm welcome at The Strone Inn and Thur-Sun you're guaranteed wonderful homemade food using local ingredients, lovingly made by Linda. It also boasts an extensively stocked gantry! Booking is ALWAYS advised as demand is high, another plus is that well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area. Brilliant local pub!
