Food was amazing and would recommend it to anybody; however, the staff weren't communicative which came across as unfriendly and the coffee was horrible.

We came by for lunch last minute with a group of 14. Food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous, also we were a bit in a rush and they served us fast and friendly! But most of all one person of our group forgot his passport at the restaurant and they called us to make sure we could pick it up again (even after their closing hours). So thank you very kindly for the amazing service!

It's an amazing place. The restaurant has a homely feel to it. We ordered different kinds of dishes, and each and every one was delicious.

What a find! Stopped off here for some lunch with the only tables available outside, which was perfect as the rain held off. The food was amazing and most probably the best chips we have ever had.!!! We also had the spicy tomato soup, sweet chili wrap and baked potato, all excellent! Location is great. Would definitely recommend!

Looking for a place to eat which didn't close at 4pm and found here. Good menu. Good, friendly service. Food is very good. The millionaire cheese cake is lovely especially with cream (not "skooshy" but "whipped double cream with a touch of sugar"). The vegetarian spicy bean burger is also recommended.

Lovely local place! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was very nice, with some good vegetarian and vegan options. We had spicy bean burger and fish and chips - both delicious and good size portions. For desert we had cakes with cream and they were 10/10! The house lager is also worth trying.

A place with a character. Staff friendly. Outside sitting area makes it extra special. A good choice of food. We went for scampi with chips - £12.55 if eating in, £10.5 if takeaway. Cider - £4.50. Can of pop - £2.30. Prices on the board outside are takeaway.

Came here for two meals after an intensive kayak expedition in loch lomond. I was pretty exhausted, but the full breakfast and the scampi i had for lunch helped me regain some strength.Very generous portions with the tasty scampi. Breakfast was spot on.

Great ambience and great food. The service was great and the food was value for money. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Just ensure that you arrive early as the kitchen closes at 07:30pm.
