Ben, the Chef, Gemma his partner and waitress and Maria, waitress excelled in their service. I Highly recommend the food, definately 5* and the views were awesome! We will be back! Oh and Gizmo, the dog was very friendly and handsome.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was quite peaceful and the scenery was great! I think the kitchen is also great!

Couldn’t recommend this place to anyone, there was no room service, we tried to contact the reception through the landline provided, but the call was not going though, Dirty water was coming through the hot water tap inside the washroom, Also, the worst part happened after we checked out from the hotel, the receptionist tried to take £100 from my girlfriends bank without even notifying her, we had payed the full payment of our stay before checking in, we asked if they need any address proof or ID they said no, and instead they asked our bank card details. didn’t expect that she would save the bank card and used it later after the checkout. and when we contacted the hotel reception, they told us that they have the rights to take money from us without notifying us.

It’s a really nice hotel but if you expect what you normally get from a hotel I’m sure you will get disappointed. No room service at all , Brownish colour water was coming out from the hot water tap in the washroom and very Poor hospitality. Not at all satisfied with the stay .

What a gem! We stayed on 20th Jan. Such a lovely hotel - very friendly, efficient & helpful team, gorgeous decor & location, comfy beds, delicious food & value for money. Thank you from Sally & Nic xx

Excellent friendly hotel. Great food. Highly recommended. Came here out of season for a break. Weather was wet and windy and most of the island was closed for business. Hotel was open and we were made to feel welcome.

Very friendly staff, but our first rooms shower didn’t work and the second rooms heat took till the morning to fully kick in.

I hadn't been since 2018 when the experience wasn't great. This time, though a small glitch in schedule had us missing the entertainment by an hour, was absolutely wonderful! Best scone I've ever eaten too! Food was prompt, staff was attentive & friendly. Would recommend it! Price was very good too.

Brilliant views from room and from restaurant. Wee things let them down. Arriving to no room booked but they did get us another room. Could not fault the room, huge, amazing views, lovely big shower. We had dinner the first night there which was ok. Bit overpriced. Ordered porridge for breakfast and my husband also had cooked breakfast. Everything came at the same time and we struggled to fit it all on the small table. Breakfast was getting cold. Staff on the whole were friendly. Could maybe do with having a uniform. The lad that served us at night had the same clothes on the next morning and they weren’t too clean. The lady at reception, although she did get us a room, wasn’t over friendly. The best thing the hotel has to offer is definitely the views.

My friends and I were originally booked at a different restaurant, but when we saw the view and menu here, we felt this was worth a few more ££.We arrived at our table to be told they had only booked for 2 people when our emails said 4. Thankfully they fitted us in. The gin selection was very good and well priced and the view is great. This is all the good things I can say about this place. Our starters were tasty, but nothing special as the menu made them out to be.The mains were a disaster. The mink fish was tiny, about three reasonable mouthfuls worth and came with little to no veg. We mentioned this to the waitress who first said, it’s an expensive fish and no one else had complained. After bringing it up with another waitress we got 50% off our meal, but with it costing £22, this was still expensive for a starter sized portion. Some effort with even adding a few more veggies would have been good.We would be going again and I am only reviewing to make it clear to others the portions are small and the menu misleading.
