Tobermory Handmade Chocolate in Argyll & Bute

Absolutely delicious chocolates. I thought I would treat myself, but they would also be a great gift (I'm not sharing). They were package with love & care & arrived safely, in one piece, following a long journey. Thank you from a very happy customer.

Found Tobermory Chocolate with an online search, but live too far away for a visit so ordered a selection of milk and white chocolates which arrived quickly, and really well packed. Wow, I will definitely order again, these are the best chocolates I've ever had, really good chocolate and delicious fillings. I can't choose a favourite they are all perfect. Husband keeps raving about the white choc pineapple though. Well worth the cost as they are large chocolates, I highly recommend them to any chocolate lover. Many thanks to the makers.

Have visited the cafe part of the shop three times already and have only been on the island for three days! The coffee and tea are good whilst the Coffee & Walnut cake and Toffee and Pecan cakes are wonderful, light, tasty and moist. Makes a refreshing change from some of the dried up fare that is often served up.There is a wide range of chocolates to choose from, so many that you can soon find yourself spending a fortune on them.

The coffee shop has a decent selection of drinks and sweet cakes etc, slightly pricey but what you'd expect. There are chocolates for sale which I believe are made on site but not a lot of information on that and a bit of a gift shop. No complaints, but no wow factor either.

I would love to give a higher score because it is a nice place. But the chocolates we bought were really not well made and not tasty.Grains of sugar in the fillings, very sweat and artificially tasting.They had not been made well. The y were soft and dull. No crackle when biting into them and no shiny finish.The violet filling was one sugary mass with a strange, not violet, flavour.Maybe make a smaller selection of perfect chocolates. Learn to heat and cool the chocolate properly.

This is heaven and hell for me. I love chocolate and good pralines. And truth to be told, up to my opinion you get the best hot chocolate in the world just here. It is not cheap... But it is worth it. And the chocolate is tasty as well. But... Unfortunately, the pralines are not as fine. But this might just be me. I am not used to the British/Scottish sweet tongue. But these are just to sweet for me... To much sugar, not enough taste. But taste it for yourself... Together with some hot chocolate 😂

Awesome chocolate made from scratch, best salted caramel ice cream I’ve ever had!!

The mocha was really good as it had a great strong dark chocolate taste from the homemade chocolate used. Also the cafe had a good view of the harbour and a nice atmosphere.

Fantastic selection of chocolate and also a small cafe inside if you fancy a coffee with that delicious chocolate!
