Tralee bay Fish and Chips in Argyll & Bute

Amazing fish & chips. Reasonably priced. Customer service on phone and at pick up was good. Food was freshly prepared and delicious! 👍

Just had battered Quorn sausage & chips and it was absolutely delicious. Great as a vegetarian to have something different. The battered sausage was lovely. In these crazy times had to ring ahead and order but ready in thirty minutes. Will definitely go again before we go home.

Sorry to say we were a bit disappointed with our fish today. The batter was very greasy and the fish a bit overdone and dry in parts. Perhaps we came on an off day as it was very busy and the rush had caused staff to take their eye off the ball ?

Delicious food, definitely recommended. But beware you have to prebook by phone and there can be quite a delay, and it's cash only.

Delicious fish and chips. We needed to pre-order and did have some trouble getting through but a staff member ended up calling us back so we could place our order . The food was excellent and good value. We ordered the regular fish and chips plus 2 quorn sausage meals. Everyone was pleased.

Delicious fresh fish. Extensive menu all preorder only. Apparently on holiday for the next 2 weeks then winter hrs Friday and Saturday only. Well worth the trip.

Having arrived at a nearby campsite unfamiliar with the area we went for a walk and saw a billboard advertising this venue. Mmmmmm we thought so walked down a very long road to be greeted with a sign-at the door-that said pre-orders only. We could have waited 2 hours for a slot!!!! I understand things are different now but a warning sign on the billboard at the entrance to the road with their phone number on would have avoided an unnecessary long walk which only made us more hungry. I’m sure they were very nice😢

Beautiful fish and chips. You can see why they've won awards! Only downer is that they only take cash so only 4 out of 5 stars.

Genuinely the best fish and chips I've ever had and being Scottish I've had a lot in my life. Highly recommended.With regards to the opening times, get there early, like 5 or 6pm early. You have to queue and then wait for about 20 minutes for your order to be freshly cooked. The portion sizes are also massive. Well worth the visit and wait.
