YuWu Chinese Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

First time ordering from here and cant fault it. BBQ Ribs and Prawn toast are outstanding. Delivered within half hour

Very overpriced food but low quality. I ordered duck in sweet chilli sauce and it was full of fat instead of nice meat. Also I did get my receipt on scratch of paper instead of proper till receipt. The person in the restaurant explained that it's because they are open only 2 months, but actually they are open almost 5 years.Never again...

Very poor sevice staff need to know about what customer asks for i asked for a pint of lager i was given a bottle of warm stella my meal was cold not what id asked for the rice was horrid im feelin like i need tae boak just thinkin bout it

Great service, pleasant surroundings, food along the lines of a "traditional" British oriental restaurant. If you venture off the beaten track of beef, green pepper and blackbean sauce there are some interesting scallop and salmon dishes which benefit from the excellent quality of seafood ingredients in this part of the world. It is still not "authentic" Chinese food.

Excellent food. The prawn toasts were lush and the scallops in ginger and spring onion and the chicken satay were delicious. Servicr grest. We will be back.

Takeaway style Chinese cooked by, strangely, an entirely non Chinese kitchen team. An attractive looking restaurant with nice ambience was unfortunately let down by very average food and a rather rude blonde girl (possibly maitre d/ supervisor as she was not in uniform) appeared at the end our our main courses and plonked our bill on the table while rushing past although we hadn't asked for it and were about to order dessert. She did the same to a gentleman sitting at a table next to us. So rude! On a positive note, our waitress, young girl with dark hair, was very friendly, polite and attentive.

we had a meal here on our recent visit to Oban.....it was BRILLIANT and we can strongly recommend. The lemon chicken was "to die for". There is no need to look anywhere else in the town YuWu is the answer ! The staff were excellent too.
