The Bobbing John in Clackmannanshire

We ordered a couple of paninis and chips. But when we came to eat the paninis they were both burnt on the bottom. So while we waited after I told a member of staff we ate the chips. They came and replaced them but also give us some more chips on the house. Didn't have room for them. But we did enjoy the paninis the second time round

My daughter took me for mother's Day. Had a lovely meal.

We popped in for a quick bite and a pint after walking round Gartmorn Dam. A flyer on the table advertised the Manager's Special burger and chips for £2.49. Had to order at the bar as it wasn't listed in the app obviously. Friendly welcome from barmaid who pointed out Abbot's Ale and Doom Bar were also on special at £1.29 a pint. £7.56 for two meals and two pints! How do they do it? Wolfed it all down so fast we forgot to take photos. Def coming back on next visit to Alloa.

Toilets were clean. Had the fire pit lit next to us which was lush. The breakfasts were delicious and came quickly. Staff were friendly. 100% would go again :)

Food ok and can't beat the free tea and coffee top ups but place needing refurb, chairs n tables past their best

It was a lovely family friendly restaurant & we felt very relaxed. The staff were very kind & did everything they could for us. Would definately recommend & we will be going back!

Cheap and decent food for the price. Typical pub grub so don't expect anything more. Drinks very reasonably priced and quick service.

Great value place to eat with a nice atmosphere. Lots of food options with drink deals and really helpful staff.

A very good addition to the pub scene in Alloa, big pub in a former old and historic town centre store. Spacious and comfortable. Good value and welcoming.... Was a nice place to call in and just have a beer, or coffee. Wetherspoons, with all the usual Wetherspoons fayre and meal offers.
