De Niro's in Dundee City

Bought a fish supper- first time trying this place the fish was fresh - chips were small portion- and just because i wanted salt and vinegar doesn’t mean the woman with brown hair should touch my food without gloves,this was the only off putting thing,don’t finger people’s food we don’t know where your hands have been

Excellent family run establishment always very tasty, cooked from fresh highly recommended !!! My personal favourite is a special fish supper always beautifully cooked with a nice crunchy breadcrumb with a carton of peas and carton of curry sauce . There fritters too have got to be the best in town 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻staff are very friendly too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Fish supper was awful tiny a d the better was soggy and uber thin poor effort chicken supper batter needed a hammer to eat it shocker will not be back great service to pity

Staff are very rude (Ronny ) when we were waiting for our food there was flies crawling about the fish then when we got our food it was all burnt and crispy then cashier threw change at us. Would not recommend it here wouldjt be surprised if you got food poisoning

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Ordered online for a specific time so my partner could enjoy it after work also and they delivered almost as soon as they got the order. The delivery driver dashed off the moment I realised the problem and didn't listen after I shouted for him. Called the takeaway and the manager got aggressive and refused to help me with the issue, and stated it wasn't their problem anymore as I collected the order. They were aware of the requested time but decided to disregard it to get the order out the way. On top of that, the chips were undercooked and the fish was dry. Complete waste of time and money, and would call the takeaway again but food has already been binned, and management is terrible and aggressive.

One the strangest king rib suppers I've ever tasted. Not bad or anything. Just really different to what I'm used too.

Second time I've ordered from here, first time was great but tonight was terrible. Got my food after just short of two hours after estimated time. The girl was very nice on the phone when I rang to ask what was going on. One of the orders was a sausage supper, it came without the chips I seam to have been given two and a half fritters in place of them. The food arrived cold also. I know everything is hard at the moment but paying good money for a very unorganised service is very disappointing.

We usually have a chipper tea a couple of times a month, we've tried other places but they don't match De Niro 's. Quality food, delivered in a reasonable amount of time, what's not to like! 🙂

New to area so tried De Niro 's. Staff were very friendly on the phone and in the shop. Food was excellent, large portions and freshly cooked. Will definitely return. Would highly recommend (as good as the Ashvale and better than the Bervie).

Went for the gluten free option they do on the first Monday of the month. My partner and I have had dodgy gluten free fish and chips elsewhere (Tailend, hang your head in shame), so we weren't expecting much. We ordered two fish and chips and a portion of fritters as we'd never tried these before.We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the meals. FAR better than we had expected. Fish was large and cooked perfectly with a lovely, light crisp batter. Chips were delicious, and as for the fritters...amazing!!This place is a hidden gem. We will be going here every gluten free night.Thank you so much for providing us with a high quality chippy that just happens to be free of gluten .
