Discovery Fish And Pizza Bar in Dundee City

Visitor to Dundee for the football. Searched for fish suppers and read great reviews. Absolutely incredible fish supper, cooked fresh to order. Delicious

Presentation of food poor. I had chilli prawns taste was amazing chips were chipper chips. Son had chips an sausage was chippers sausage again. I expected bit more choice of seafood. As pictures looked better on website.

Would be totally 5 stars for the food. Some of the best fish and chips I've had and the tartar sauce was brilliant. Giving a 3 because all of all off the staff were mask less. Was a notice saying they were abiding by guidelines but the scottish guidelines are in public spaces you should wear a mask unless you are exempt. Are all the staff exempt? I work in the food industry and we wear masks with the public. The staff weren't socially dicistance so they need to wear masks. They didn't have gloves on which they should have least have done. Would make me cautious to go here under the circumstances.

A nice place, with great produce. I just wish they would step up a bit for chips (no difference versus any fish and chips shop) and kids entertainment (just some worn out pencils and a white piece of paper - the back of the kid's menu). Nice, friendly staff, very clean premises, local focus on drinks.

Best fish and chips I have had for a long time. We eat in the restaurant and the service was good. Family run business with links back to the fishing boats. Very fresh fish.

As a ceoliac it's not easy finding good gluten free fish and chips . This was delicious. Unfortunately couldn't finish it as portions were rather large. Now have fish and chip haze. 10/10.My husband had normal fish and chips and he said the same . Well worth the travel

The fish was a bit greasy but the tartar sauce and sticky toffee pudding are soooo goooddd.

Bought a bag of chips to enjoy down at the urban beach. They looked amazing, great big portion, I could smell them as I made my way down by green market. Could a spot to sit but they were hard on the outside 😭I actually felt bad for the seagulls because I binned them

One of the best fish and chips I've had, and probably the best in Dundee. Everything is freshly cooked for you when you order with the fish being perfectly flakey with crunchy batter and the chips having the combination of fluffy on the inside and slightly crunch on the outside.

Dead posh fish & chips but so tasty. I had the large battered haddock and it was gorgeous. The chips were lovely and the curry sauce was spot on, too. I also had peas and coleslaw so was stuffed by the end, but it was worth it.My wife had the salmon and loved it. Oh and we had mussels with cream/white wine sauce as a starter...brilliant.The staff were friendly and chatty too and the service was great. Oh and good value as well, for the quality. Highly recommended.
