Golden Crown in Dundee City

What a disappointment! Paid £20 for special noodles prawns and spring rolls it was awful I hade to throw special noodles away because they had too much dark sauce and I didn't know what I was eating. The noodles were in places white where they hadn't been mixed In. Never again!

Amazing chinese..I read the other reviews and it seems I ordered from a completely different place. I placed my order online and opted for pickup. The website keeps you informed about time left before you can collect which I thought was great.The gentleman who gave me my order was lovely, friendly and I also got some free prawn crackers.The food was piping hot and very well cooked.This was my first time ordering and I will definitely be back when I will work in Dundee again.

Would not revisit. Expected better food. Thankfully I do like onions as there were plenty. The ham in my main dish was processed. Worst I've ever eaten.

Order chicken curry and chicken platter came warm and the chicken platter was disgusting reheated and burnt wont be back.

First time trying this takeaway, definitely won't be my last! The food was delicious, chef was more than happy to make an alteration to a menu dish too! There's something for everyone on their extensive menu. Food was delivered quickly and, despite the weather, was steaming hot!

What an utter disgrace! Ordered food, over an hour passes and I stand patiently waiting. The staff hide in the kitchen, the delivery drivers walk in and out from the kitchen with no food. One starts speaking to the angry customers. I notice others have waited longer than me. Eventually I get my food and take it away only to notice they forgot the drinks and believe it or not we hardly got any sauce or chips.So the order, only for 2 people, took over an hour, the staff hid away, the hygiene was very poor, the quantities were halved and they forgot to serve sauce with my crispy shredded beef!! Will not be back. Do not recommend!!

Ordered the prawn platter and when I opened it,it was like it had been reheated and it was all burnt just like the chips. It came 15 min ealier (can't complaint at that) but all the food was cold. I hate wasting food but sadly had to bin it, I would rather bin it and possibly get food poisoning. Won't be ordering from them again and surprised they are still open because most of the comments I have read are mostly bad so I think this place should be closed for good.

After a week on lockdown we were looking forward to a treat, Chinese and movie night with the kids. Wish we went somewhere else for the food. The worst salt and pepper chicken wings I've ever had, cooked until the chicken had the texture of plastic. Then came the special fried rice, nothing special about it, dry and horible, couldn't eat it.Waste of money, certainly won't be ordering from here again. Would have been better with a frozen Chinese meal from Iceland.

The food was phenomenal! It took a while to come out, but was totally worth the wait - you can't hurry greatness. I especially recommend the salt and chilli dishes. Five out of five stars!

Awful!Have ordered twice now and both times after repeated phone calls and plenty of excuses food eventually turned up over an hour and a half late. Wish I could say it was worth waiting for but huge chunks of raw onion I wouldn’t imagine were to many people’s taste!Avoid! Plenty other places to order from where your food will actually turn up!
