Italian Grill in Dundee City

Distinctly average.Staff were superb and very attentive and the wings were excellent.After that it wasn't great.Steak was fatty under undercooked. Pizzas were bland. Bread was hard and had little flavour.Not expensive but not cheap enough for the standard of mains.

Food and drinks were extremely good, me and my partner were very satisfied. Staff were very friendly and polite. Nice menu and atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

Very good Italian restaurant. The pizzas were big, tasty and not expensive.There are many sharing items which we loved so no need to only eat one meal but can all share a few starters and pizzas.The place is beautiful and very large.The kitchen is open so you can see that it is clean and professional.When we were there, there were only a few tables to serve but the servers were efficient and quick.Great experience at a low price.

We went here for lunch after my wife's graduation ceremony. The restaurant was not busy. We were shown to the table nearest the toilets despite many others being empty. Our drink and food order was taken quite quickly, however we then had to wait over 30 minutes for our starters to arrive and then a further hour for our mains. The waiting time was ridiculous considering the restaurant was only about a third full. The food was okay, nothing special.As we were leaving another group started to complain that they had been waiting for 1 and a half hours for their food.The waiting staff were not particularly attentive. Overall a very poor experience and I definitely won't be back.

We booked the private dining area for our Mum's 80th birthday. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and the food and cocktails were excellent. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, too - we will definitely be back!

First time in Dundee for many years and my niece, who is at Abertay Uni, booked lunch for the 3 of us at the Italian Grill. Greeted on arrival immediately by pleasant staff member and shown to nice clean table. Order was taken promptly and food was tasty, fresh and hot.All staff wore masks and were polite and efficient. Overall very impressed.

Almost superb. Friendly, attentive waitress service, reasonable prices. Good food. Only minor disappointment was the quality of the pasta, a single bowl varied between very soft and almost uncooked! But, given the size of the portions prior, not a huge problem. As with all UK "Italian" restaurants, spaghetti bolognaise is on the menu - this is not an Italian dish...The calamari however, is sublime. Well done the chef on the day..Another bonus - my friends wished to surprise me with a birthday "cake", and the staff obliged!

I met a friend for lunch and both of us were delighted with our dishes. It was during Covid, and all protocols were adhered to. The waiter was very friendly and professional, and we both enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. Real, authentic, delicious Italian food. Extensive and varied menu, very reasonably priced. The staff are attentive, friendly and professional. A lot of COVID safety measures implemented such as physical distancing, screens, sanitising stations and staff wearing masks. We'll definitely be back. 5*
