Metro Brasserie & Restaurant in Dundee City

AMAZING COCKTAILS!!! Food was good. Had veggie and vegan options. Nice atmosphere and decor. Attentive and kind staff.

Absolutely amazing food. It was wonderful. I would say the best restaurant in Dundee. The menu is full of insping food. I had the parfait to start, rabbit for the main and the lemon tart. Every course had the wow factor. I will be back and wish them every success, they deserve it.

Fine dining. Modern concrete and steel dining room. Tasty, finely prepared food with great silver service. Modern but old fashioned. I liked it actually, it was busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere and food. Price as expected, really not too much given attention to detail. Recommended.

Deeply, depressingly disappointing (except for our waitress who was pleasant, polite and patient - unlike her boss the general manager). 2 1/2 hours in the place with 1/2 hour actually eating and 2 hours waiting for barely warm food to arrive accompanied by room temperature white wine. We guess the kitchen was under-staffed though we were never offered any explanation. Menu looked interesting on paper but didn't deliver on flavour (with exception of the side of Kimchi, the chips and the over-priced cheese).

What a fantastic dining experience! We visited here on a Saturday evening - the restaurant was busy but with ample space in between tables - a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. The service was absolutely faultless - the serving staff knew the menu and their wines and made sure our glasses were never empty. The menu was really interesting and everything was cooked to perfection. The rump and shoulder of lamb was fantastic! We discovered this place quite by accident and were really glad we did - we’ll be visiting again next time we’re in Dundee!

From the moment you enter this bright spacious restaurant and are greeted by polite friendly staff, you know you are in for a special night.The staff are knowledgeable and willing to answer any question about the menu, where ingredients come from, etc.The food is fresh, beautifully presented & very tasty.You just know the chef is professional in every aspect and rightly proud of the dishes served.If ever in Dundee again,we will be sure to visit.

This is a French restaurant. The environment is nice and social distancing is very important. It was served on a very large, Very French plate. The eggs are delicious, with white chocolate on the outside and mostly duck liver on the inside. It's not tired at all. I ate it all. The lamb is a classic Scottish flavour similar to what I eat in Fort William. The dessert was delicate and delicious. The service in the restaurant was very good and the waiters were very polite.

Best meal we have had all year fantastic food in a wonderful contemporary restaurant. Staff were excellent. My wife ha the shallots to start and a very tasty mushroom spinach and ricotta. I had the chicken duck parfait (amazing) and looked nothing like I expected. I also had the confit duck which was delicious. We were so impressed complements to all who work there. Great to see dundee opening restaurants of this quality. We will be back!!

Nice place, good food and attentive staff. The food is unconventional, well-presented and cooked to perfection. If you fancy something different give this place a go. There aren't many options on the menu but it's worth a try.

Great atmosphere and really good food. We took the Sunday Brunch Menu with soup, chef's table and the burger which was plenty of food, were definatelly stuffed after that. The best were the desserts!
