Papa Joe's has a fabulous vintage photographs and 3D decoration with pieces that always entertain me while I wait for the food and for my children they have crayons and coloring sheets and that it´s a good detail to make all of us wait in calm. They have a wide selection of Scottish dishes and international food as well as children's menu and vegetarian (like myself) specialties, the portions are plentiful, which is important if you are hungry. Very tasteful dishes and extensive wine and beer variety alike. The attention of the waiters is very special and will pay special attention to children when ordering. I think is the ideal place for a late Sunday lunch with the family. The price of the dishes is in range, average for a place like this. Will be back soon

It was a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. The fish was moist and flakey. The ambience was vintage and casual. Keep up the good work.

Need to train management on Cultural Sensitivities, religion. Not everyone eats Pork.I went in with my friends and this is two years ago.Nice waiter etc, took order and I looked up the chicken pizza, chorizo, I had no clue what this was as I don't eat pork as its a cultural thing. Ordered Chicken pizza which on the header only says Chicken pizza and in small gives all the tomato cheese etc it said chorizo somewhere. The pizza came and I saw sprinkles of sausage on my pizza.I tried explaining it to the waiter that I assumed chicken pizza would be chicken and she said Ill get the manager, politely. She got the manager, a young bossy girl who was least bit interested in the cultural sensitivity ie you bought it its your problem. It was as if there was nothing wrong, ie attitude was quite clear " You are wasting my time and eat the damn pork, you ordered it and you should have known, its written here in small print chorizo and you should know what chorizo is, because I eat it everyday."Very disappointed and offended. I was expecting a lot from this place but in the end not a great experience. And thats all that there is, I can make a fairly good pizza on my own, I go to restaurants for the experience.

FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL STAFF. Excellent food and great atmosphere. Cocktails not as good as the wine. Really good and worth another visit.

Not as good as tgi fridays and more expensive. Food was bland and didn't taste fresh. Burger was overcooked and salad was dry. Atmosphere was ok and staff friendly. Seats were well uncomfortable. If Dundee gets a tgi fridays this place is in trouble.

I've been to been Papa Joe's quite a lot of times and the food there is really good. The only issue is that sometimes it can feel a bit too busy if you want a quite meal.

First time I've eaten here. I will definitely go again when I get chance. It's not an expansive menu, which I think is a good thing sometimes. The food though was lovely. It was an Easter Saturday night. They were very busy. Yet they still managed to save you waiting for a long time. Even though there was eleven of us. Very clean. Friendly service and good atmosphere.

I have eaten here several times. The lunch menu is decent for what you pay for however I did find a bug in my salad once out of the many times I've been there. The night menu is better as it seems like they care more. I always have steak and it's always good.

Totally unwilling to substitute veggie burger instead of meat based one even although they do sell them. This was apparently not "part of their lunchtime special" I mean come on how pathetic is that! There was also an issue about a table ordering then splitting the bill, it was a work lunch and these things are commonly done. How can you recommend a place that can't even get the basics right?

Went on a Monday night. The service was exemplary. Whilst the food us not haute cuisine it is good for the price you pay. More of a family restaurant.
