Redwood Restaurant in Dundee City

Pleasant staff and atmosphere. Surprisingly enjoyable food considering it's all vegan and a nice selection of drinks.I found some of the dishes to be under-seasoned for Mexican, lacking salt and spice. I expected that mex-punch of flavour but never got it. Possibly because most dishes had a lot of potato in them. Maybe having some salt on the table would help?

There’s a lot of vegan Mexican options out there so it can be hard to do something new, but the food here is creative, exciting and really properly tasty. So so impressed - can’t believe it took us so long to come, and it certainly won’t be long till we’re back!

This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been. To be honest it ruined our night. Patatas bravas were cooked in tomato sauce(?), nachos we ordered has barely toppings on it. It was simply tortilla chips with some sauce and some sliced red peppers. Nothing else. I left wondering “have you ever eaten nachos?” It is unbelievable that this restaurant got this high rating. Angry and frustrated :/

Nice vegan place, with many options. Reasonably priced, approx £20 per person if sharing. Has good range

Amazing food. The whole menu is vegan, but we couldn't tell until halfway through our meal when we saw it written on the menus. Honestly, you can't tell the difference. Great food and great atmosphere as well.

Heavenly food! I’m not vegan, but this place could easily turn me into one! The dirty fries were amazing (I had cheeseburger) and there was a children’s menu for my daughter but she just shared my plates. Yes - I ordered 3 things off the menu and have no regrets 🤣

A fairly small but delicious vegan menu, we shared 6 dishes and they were all excellent. Great margaritas too, highly recommend!

Good choice of vegan delights. Food is tasty and wide range of coffees. Prices are reasonable and good value. Located to the north of Dundee Uni campus, lots of paid parking nearby. Free parking within five minutes walk. Split step entry and half doors to get in. Door on right leads to steps, door on left is floor level. Good spacing between tables. Standard height seating and tables. Stairs to toilets.
