Despite being very busy for lunch, we were attended to immediately and given a table straight away. Soup of the day along with roast beef and Club sandwiches, were delicious.Staff all extremely helpful and attentive.

Entered cafe nobody looked at us, I asked do we just sit down. He then answered with a no. Eventually got shown to a seat where we enjoyed 15 mins of no service. Got fed up and decided to get takeaway coffee instead, oh boy what a mistake that was, should have just left. Felt like an inconvenience, no apologies. The guy winced when we asked for takeaway. Horrible service, horrible coffee, don’t go here. An hour of my life I will never get back, just to get growled at and a cold coffee. After sitting down for 15 mins being ignored, they asked us to take a seat while we waited for a takeaway to be made. I thought the boy was joking and declined the lovely offer to sit back down. Not a nice experience

Our second time here to meet up with family. Very good friendly staff, they keep an eye on the tables and know when gets need something. 4 times fish and chips and an halloumi burger and 5 empty plates were left at the end of the meal Recommended

Well sited next to the Tay, good views of the waves on a stormy day! Restaurant was nice but a bit chilly, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was ok until dessert which was way overpriced and virtually inedible- only time staff didn't approach us to check everything was ok! I'd had a snack to justify dessert so was hungry enough to eat mine, but husband left his after first couple of mouthfuls. Short of time before work we didn't say anything until paying the bill. When I mentioned how poor dessert was they apologised, said they'd tell the chef but still charged us for both portions. First time we've been, and at over £40 for a disappointing meal, won't be rushing back.

Gorgeous cake! Lovely setting and view. Friendly staff and great (and very reasonably priced) drinks and cakes. Confusion over the bill as we were told to pay at the till but the server didn't know which table we had sat at! Would recommend.

Clean, tidy, good service, food looked and tasted great. One diner had a problem with the description vs the actual dish and the restaurant swapped the meal and apologised.

Absolutely gorgeous view at the right times of day, adding to great ambience during our visit. Staff were friendly and got all of our orders(that nearly all included changes!) correct, first time. The only letdown was the anticipated chocolate cheesecake and coffee ice cream, and I need to say this may be completely subjective, personal preference etc... It was way too cheesy and neither of our two ordered were finished. Everything else was exactly as we'd wanted though so no marking down 🙂

Food is good and reasonably priced. My new favorite biking coffee stop

Enjoyed this. The views are fabulous. Food was good - typical (slightly upmarket) pub grub. Was a bit surprised not to get any salad with my burger - should have realised I needed to order it as an extra side.Restaurant was a bit cold - didn't make me want to linger. Quiet at 6:15 but got busier as the evening wore on.Prices OK.Will probably go back - but mainly because I don't know what else Dundee has to offer (still discovering).

Food was okay, but very good value. Lovely views and free parking for 2 hours
