Went here after a very busy day sightseeing in Dundee and Arbroath. Also wanted to celebrate our friends special birthday. We didn't have a booking however Mohammed our waiter was very welcoming, friendly and charming. The meal was absolutely delicious, hot and spicy (if you wish) and we didn't feel rushed like you get in some restaurants. Mohammed also surprised our friend with a lovely cake🍰 at the end of our meal. Very special touch considering we didn't even have a booking. Fantastic restaurant and amazing staff 👍👍

If I could give lower than one star I would, 3 hours to wait on a meal then to receive a text message to say itll be another 30 minutes, called them and got absolutely no where, in fact they blamed just eat, pretty sure just eat dont actually prepare the meals, will NEVER order from here again. Absolutely diabolical service!

Was told card had been declined so tried the wife's that was declined also.... but they worked fine next door... CASH SCAMMERS there is only one person going to ruin your business and its you....

Visited for a meal, friendly welcome from staff, drink order taken as we looked at menu. Ordered a sharing platter for 2 with dips, a Sunnys Special Grill my all time favourite comes with rice and salad and a tasty sauce. Mr C tried the newly added dish Egyptian Donner Kebab which came with a naan bread, he said it was delicious. All washed down with a cheeky wee bottle of Pinot. Our food was as usual excellent, restaurant was busy so a great atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit

Always a superb meal when we eat here. Our to go to Indian restaurant. The food is always fantastic.

Misleading advert. They added compulsory service charge (10%) without stating it in advance (as per my understanding the restaurant is obligated to state it upfront). We have never been informed, checked their FB post and website and there is no information about service charge.

First time visiting Scotland. looking up places to eat Sunny's popped up with good reviews.Food was absolutely superb, I love my food spicy and was pleased that the food was not only extra spicy as requested but tasted amazing too! Lets forget the main course for a second, the Keema Rice is probably the best I've ever had, if not for anything else I'd definitely go back just for that.They have their own sauce called 'Baba's Sauce' that they have been making for many years, its awesome and rather unique, not too sure how to describe it if I'm honest but goes well with most starters. Has abit of a kick to it.Service was phenomenal. Cameron looked after us, he was very attentive and friendly. Got some tips on what to visit in Dundee too which was much appreciated. Haven't experienced a great level of service like this in a long time.I would definitely go back again and would highly recommend it. Just don't forget to order Keema Rice!!

First day in Dundee and I’ve got to say it was the best restaurant in Dundee for me. Food was amazing! We ordered a variety. The keema rice, garlic Nan, lamb chops, chicken wings & North Indian Garlic chicken was unbelievably amazing! Cheesecake was just 😋😋 lovely! And besides the food Cameron gave us the best customer experience. The service was 10/10. He was very attentive, down to earth and super kind. I will definitely go back to Sunnys again

Just had the most fantastic meal here. Dont need the buffet if you order wisely as the portions are more than enough! The service is first class as well and very quick to respond to any requests. Best restaurant I've dined in in years!
