I give this 5 stars because its an excellent pub with friendly bar staff and a friendly warm atmosphere I love it

Long standing bar in Dundee's Perth Road. Plenty of character and history. Lots of memorabilia portrayed on its walls, particularly relating to the Tay Railway Bridge from which the Bar derives its name. Decent pint at a reasonable price. Personally, I prefer the nearby Speedwell Bar (Mennies) but that's only my choice and I'm sure there are plenty of other people who would see things the other way round.

Always my first stop on a trip down the perth road! Great pint of Tennant's from here but have a decent selection of beers also. A few fancy gins too but couldn't elaborate on that.Also plenty TVs for the sports but could do with upgrading a few. One thing I dislike are the chairs that surround the bar so you sometimes have to shout your order or lean a fair way when it's busy but all round great pub overall.
