Ate here on Sunday, prawn cocktail was pitched as a 'bloody mary' prawn cocktail but nothing special, tiny prawns and ok sauce. GF had the Cullen skink which was curdled, chef apartently said it wasn't curdled it was made yesterday and had split......why serve someone a day old split soup, that just means you cooked the cream at too high a temp. No apology and they kept serving it and didn't take it off the menu.GF asked for prawn cocktail and we ended up cancelling that after a delay, and the waiter basically said other orders are in and you are at the bottom of the queue fir getting your replacement starter.Think it was more the chef/cook being arsy, rather than the poor waiters fault.Mussels were OK, chips were good.Steak pie meat was tough, not falling apart like it should.Mum was meant to have Cullen skink as her main but she cancelled it.Not a great experience, won't be back.

1st time I've had a meal there and I wasn't disappointed. I went for the small battered fish and chips,it's could have been mistaken for a whale as the fish was massive..chips where lovely and crispy also..very reasonably priced and the service was quality..will definitely be back..

Always a great pint and a warm welcome at the Fisherman's. Lots of nooks and crannies to find a spot and people watch or chat with locals. I love the menu at the moment, a great variety, plenty of vegetarian options and the food is always top class. The staff are friendly and attentive and there's social distancing/sanitizer in place. 5*

Very welcoming, friendly staff. Excellent food and great clean and well equipped rooms. Brilliant location. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Keep up the good work. 👍

Really friendly place. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Comfortable and clean. Lovely bar and close to the centre of town. We even enjoyed a night of traditional music. Will be back.

·

Great food. Friendly staff. Our one negative issue was trying to get from restaurant seating area to toilet. Blokes drinking at bar and not moving to let you passed. Just too narrow a space for people to stand there and spoilt our visit.

Really lovely friendly staff and the food was good too. Very safe environment, social distancing adhered to.Good value for money and well presented meals. It was the friendly and attentive staff that pushed the score to a 5 🌟 score

Lovely 3 star pub/inn. Good food, reasonably priced drinks, welcoming staff. Wi-fi could be better as it kept dropping out but it didn't spoil an otherwise enjoyable stay. I'll be back.
