I was very happy to be The Popular's first delivery through ecoeats. The delivery was very quick and the delivery driver very polite.The food as ever was awesome and still hot on arrival. This is the best chip shop in Dundee...just how chips used to be. I had initial problems with the ecoeats app but the staff were very helpful calling ecoeats and resolving the problem I had. BRILLIANT!!

Without a doubt, my favourite chippy. The chips are perfect, as is the fish. Plus I get nostalgic, remembering sitting in having a supper with my wee piece on my side plate.

The best city center chippy. The popular is the only good chippy in the city center; the service is fast, the food is always hot and tastes bloody brilliant and they don't try and short change you like I have experienced in many of the other chippys.I had never had red pudding before coming here but having had it once -as it was the only thing left one night, I would​ highly recommend it.
