Great pub, great atmosphere on Saturday night very busy but served quick at the bar and met some nice people and also bar staff very friendly. Had Food on Sunday and it was also great and loads of. Definitely will be back when staying again and highly recommend here if your staying in Broughty Ferry.

Plain fayre, great service. Great coal effect fire. Staff friendly and attentive

Excellent place. I wouldn't describe it as a pub anymore though in the true sense of what a Scottish pub is because its main business these days seems to be food. So it's more of a restaurant than a traditional pub these days. The menu is, by the way, excellent. The traditional interior decor is superb and there are many artefacts and similar items of interest from bygone days. Well worth a visit, but for a meal and a drink rather than simply a bevvy session.

Really good. Booked in for lunch, fabulous. I had the steak pie, loads of meat, very tasty. My wife had a prawn salad, ordered curly fries as a side but barely touched them as the salad was substantial and delicious. The only regret that we have is that in these cashless times there was no option to add a tip in at the time of payment. Definitely recommend if you're in the town.

Nice place for drinks and for food. There's a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. However, there are very few cocktails to choose from. The food is very good as far as pub grub goes and the portions are huge. The menu is extensive but the dessert options are limited - only 4 or 5. The service is fast and the staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend booking a table if you fancy food on a Friday or Saturday night. We went there for food and drinks on Saturday and it was extremely busy. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
