Great wee pub in the centre of town, pleasant and attentive staff and the food is good with reasonable prices.

Great wee pub serving really good food. Great place to eat if in the area. 5min walk from the Gellatly street car park and right near the shops. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented and genuinely interested in how we were. Clean toilets.

Excellent food at always with great customer service. The salad with the main meal is so fresh. Need to try the desserts next time!

Love this pub. Must be one of the best in Dundee. Welcoming, warm, great staff. Maybe slightly higher priced than some of the Dundee pubs but my favourite Dundee pub. It's nice to feel comfortable when away from home and that is how this pub makes me feel.

Terrible pub, now a pathetic shadow of the place I have frequented on and off for the best part of my adult life. Can't really believe the 5* reviews on here, must be tourists or people with connections to staff/management. By far and away the least welcoming and friendly pub in the centre of Dundee. Many decent, welcoming, more efficiently run pubs within a few minutes walk of this place, do your research and you will have a warmer, happier experience. Avoid.Edit to answer response. You are either mixing me up with someone else or indulging in dishonesty to discredit my review.....I certainly insulted no one in your establishment and would not condone anyone who did. Perhaps you have many more disatisfied ex-customers than you would like to think? I am warmly welcomed in the 2 or 3 other city centre pubs I frequent, so your patronising advice on how to behave is not required. As you say, All the best :)

We visited here today after hearing good reviews about the food. What a fantastic afternoon we had , food was amazing , staff were extremely attentive and cheery, atmosphere was great and we will definitely be returning soon hopefully, would definitely recommend

I knew as I walked towards this wee pub I was going to like it.Traditional but quirky, loved the painting on the wall&the quote about 'the coo' Hubby&I enjoyed a few wee drinks to heat us up after Xmas shopping on a bitter day.Definitely worth a visit,bar staff cheery,will come back next time we're up this way,thanx

Always get a decent pint, fast and friendly service and a wee booth table to unwind in, right in the middle of town. Great place. Used to sit upstairs as a teen 😃

A nice city pub for a late afternoon pint, I had a delicious Beverton Neck Oil IPA. Friendly, cheerful staff, a clean gents.
