If this is one of dundees best I would hate to get from there worst.sausage supper was stale and block cut fish witch is never a good sign .won't hurry back .

See this chip shop has fair good reviews so may just be my experience of misfortune! About 3rd time now I’ve found the food here not that nice, think it’ll be my last sadly. Find the staff pleasant enough and had no hassle but the taste/smell from the chips is just really bad. Not sure if it’s something to c with the oil. Also pizza crunch was burnt a little. Whole thing gone in the bin and hopefully getting something a bit better from Tay Fry Inn.

Hands down my favourite chip shop. I love their mozzarella sticks, as well as fish (both breaded and battered are good). The portions are always massive and when I order it with salt and vinegar, it’s perfectly seasoned.Delivery is good, prices are good value for money.Happy happy.

Bought chips, cheese and coleslaw. Poor portion of coleslaw and cheese. Cost a fiver. I probably paid about £2.50 for a small spoonful of slaw and a sprinkle of cheese. Pretty disappointing.

Only been a couple of times but really good old school chippy. Foods good and staff friendly.

In summary it was OK. The chips were well cooked and a decent sized portion but lacked flavour. We ordered two muffins and they were not buttered. They had zero vegetarian pies. The gravy lacked flavour (it felt overly diluted) and tasted cheap. Curry sauce was just OK. We also had a potato fritter which also had zero flavour and was also quite greasy. We also ordered half a deep fried cheese and tomato pizza and it might as well have been deep fried bread as it hardly had any tomato sauce or cheese on it. Batter on the fritter and the pizza was very very light in colour and NOT a nice golden brown. Pricey for what you get. Staff felt a little frosty and we are glad it's not our local chippy.

Good portions. Over £8 for a fish supper. Mushy peas not great. Food was served quick

Excellent chipper always very friendly too . I normally get a crispy fish supper carton of peas and curry sauce my wife normally opts for a chicken supper always made to perfection and not greasy highly recommended and always cooked from fresh with a nice crunchy batter

Friday night is... Chippy tea night. Tonight.. The Victor!I got fish supper (even though I didn't ask for one) with a couple fritters and mushy peas. And the boyf got a steak pie and couple fritters. No picture though, as he had scoffed his by time mine was camera ready haha.Everything was fresh, the chips were cooked to perfection. The only complaint I have is the mushy peas. Would've been better with a wee bit salt and vinegar in them. But apart from that everything was really good. Victor is my go to chippy. So much better than The Silvery Tay

Definitely the best fish and chip place in Dundee. The battered fish, fritters and deep fried mushrooms are must orders. Their batters are so crispy. The fritters are one of the best in town too.
