Two small cones cost £4.70, which would be fine if it was good quality but it was really pretty dire - watery and insipid - not at all what Italian ice cream should be.

·

Always a bit fan of their pizza (especially capricciosa) and their pasta - carbonara is better than mine. And of course their gelato.

Had an amazing lunch. My daughter had homemade ravioli with beef, I tried fettuccine with smoked salmon. It was delicious. Great choice of homemade ice cream. I would come here again and would recommend if you are in Broughty Ferry.

First time visiting here was recommended when I was visiting Carnoustie. Took a wee while to take our order but waiter was very apologetic and busy. Food was very nice would definitely recommend the pizza 🍕 Thank you

Gelateria shows £3 for 2 scoops at entrance. After eating in and ordering 2 × 2 scoops, surprised to be charged £10(£5 × 2) instead of a total of £6. Already saw the price at the entrance why would we bother checking for extra charges in the menu.State the sit-in premium price on the displayed menu or tell customers who order ice-cream that theyre being charged extra because theyre not gonna check the menu again when they sit if they already saw the prices at the entrance.Wouldnt recommend the icecream here. Didnt like it before paying extra and like it even less now.(Edit)In response to the owner I reiterate:1. The pricelist at the entrance stipulated 2 scoops for 3 Quid2. Staff at the cashier DID NOT 'advise me that it would be more expensive in the seating area' he merely said 'table service?'3. The menu was already on the table we did not look at it as we relied on the prices we had seen at the entrance which was the reason why we chose to eat at the place.4. How u choose to charge customers who sit in is your prerogative but the onus is on you to make any price differences apparent on the SAME price list at the entrance especially when the price is 66% more.5. The sundae glasses were not scraped clean. Besides even if they were it doesnt matter. I didnt say it was inedible.

great menu for lunch and a huge selection of ice creams

The actual café is very basic and sparse. Doesn't have a cosy atmosphere, but the bacon roll and hot chocolate were absolutely amazing!

Great food: we ordered a pizza for kids and some pasta and it arrived quickly and was very tasty. Amazing ice-cream: we only had one scoop each, but they were massive. I guess if you're going for the sundaes you should skip lunch and possibly breakfast. Coffee was also excellent. The only minor issue was it was a bit cramped, but the food was well worth it. Will definitely come back!

We had a lovely family meal here while on holiday in Glen Prosen. The focus is very much on pizza and ice cream. Very good quality, fresh, and a world away from a chain restaurant. Folk very friendly and accommodating. Lovely clean toilets. Will be back. Edit: oops this is the one in Kirriemuir but I guess it's the same family that run it

Great ice cream, good choices and special ones during Christmas period. Their churros was really nice too! I think they have waffle wednesdays going on. However the service was a bad experience, the cafe was “booked out” at 4pm for tea? Then we had to stand and eat, when another couple went in, they got a seat. When asking the staff just grumbled the seat just got free and didn’t offer a seat. When I insisted they finally admitted there’s a free table at the back. When you look around there’s around 5 tables empty! Sadly it’s the first time I felt so welcomed by an establishment.
