Weavers Mill in Dundee City

When the food came out there was a mix up with the orders and the manager was quite rude. The chips were cold, and the fish (which wasn’t ordered but we accepted) was inedible - watery, soggy, no taste. The third meal (steak) didn’t come with all that was described in the menu and the steak was cremated as well as being fatty. Probably left 3/4 of each meal. Would not go back.

Very busy, booked a table, but no one seating you,so after a wait we found our own table, among the uncleared tables. Ordered food, and after a 45 minute wait, we asked where our food was to be informed we were told on ordering it would be a 45 minute wait, 1 you didn't take our order! and 2, no we weren't informed of the wait, but you did bring us our food 5 minutes later.Food was lovely but coffee was cold.

To be fair, the server was great. But the food was disappointing. I ordered sizzling fajitas but it was mostly burnt. The guy was really appologetic and took it away, but in the mean time my chips and my partner's food went cold. When he returned with a fresh one it was ok but hardly any chicken on it, and way too many onions. There was no one around, so eventually we just left without leaving feedback.

Just like to say that this is the third time I have eaten in this place. Read reviews and to be honest I feel that I have never had a bad experience here. Food was great and the service was the same. Would recommend to anyone. Eat out regularly and this place certainly gives you value for money. Didn’t have to wait long . The kids were quiet all the way through there dinner so says something. Thank you to staff. Would certainly come back again .

Came down for the Bingo Night and ordered food before it started. Food was really fresh and hot. Staff were friendly. Didn’t wait long for our food. Really enjoyable night!

Food was alright on the whole but service was very slow. And why would anyone serve a rare steak on a sizzling platter. I was amused that the ordering app gave the offer of no ice for soft drinks but returned a message that "no ice is out of stock".

Went last week for a family meal and it left a lot to be desired. Almost every meal had something missing and staff didn't inform us. My daughter's toad in the hole consisted of sausage and chips. I ordered a steak which didn't arrive until after my entire family had finished their meals and the manager just said that they forgot to do it. I actually feel robbed for paying the bill. Please avoid

Not very impressed. Brought my family here for a birthday meal and everything we ordered had something wrong with it. The mega grill was missing the fried egg and the medium steak couldn't be anymore well done. The fajitas were missing the peppers. The fish was missing the mushy peas that we never got and the mac n cheese had no garlic bread.We made a member of the front of house staff aware of the situation, he said he would speak to kitchen but never returned to the table. Safe to say we won't be back anytime soon after this experience.

Long waits for food and drinks. We ordered on the app and it was 30 mins before the drinks arrived and over 1 hour for the food. When the food did arrive the steak which I ordered medium rare was well done on one side and medium to well on the other, very disappointing.We ordered a second round of drinks soon after our first ones arrived and that never turned up so I got a refund. We were told by the manager drinks orders often get missed?!We were staying in the premier inn next door and to be fair the breakfast was very good value for money, so redeemed 1 star!

Hi not my first trip here to weavers mill and since the last time its not really improved much. Meals were nice enough but the cleanliness wasn't the best plus service between courses were long whether it was because we were put in the bar area, plus the breakfast was pretty basic not much choice unless you had a cooked breakfast especially for kids no cereal etc except porridge and jam and toast.. I had to this morning send back my daughters burned toast which I felt shocked about, probably not be back.
