We walked here along the canal and over the Aqueduct from Linlithgow for a very pleasant light lunch before returning via the Avon path. The cafe is light and airy, the staff were friendly. The menu is varied but not extensive. The prices are reasonable and the place was very clean. Our soup and shared sandwich were delicious. The Ginger beer was very refreshing as the day had warmed up considerably.

The mothers day service was pretty bad, we were forgotten about twice we entered at 1:45pm and didn't leave till 4:15 there was a 40 min wait for the starter, another hour for the main and we waited half an hour for the dessert to be told they didn't tell the kitchen we had finished our main and it wasn't being made D: my mother is an older lady and this proved too much for her, we weren't offered a refresh on drinks either, the people at the next table waited 45 minutes for garlic bread that wasn't too impressive either! Not very happy mums.

We were in a group of 3 & all said that the food was amazing, chips are SO good !!The staff were friendly & helpful & even though they were wearing masks you could see they were smiling. The outside & inside areas of the bistro is wheelchair friendly, easy access in & all around the tables too.We could see tables being cleaned & reset straight away.Easy access to toilet facilities, spotless with plenty of room for wheelchair users.Thank you, We will definitely be back for more !!

A really nice place to go for a coffee or a meal. It's located just next to the canal and the view is quite beautiful and relaxing. The outdoor seating area is great to enjoy on a nice day. Would definitely recommend and will return.

I have been coming here for a while now. You always get a lovely welcome, the food is superb and there's always something a little bit different, too. During the winter months, the lovely log burner is on. They have pictures on the walls that are from local artists and for sale, which is a lovely idea. I'll have to book a pod outside soon; they look fun.

I keep trying and keep being disappointed. One fries , one sausage sandwich , two cans of juice ... Sat outside ... Had to ask for a menu ... Had to ask for our order to be taken ... Had to ask if possible to get our cans of juice ... To be told our order was misplaced and had to re-ordered .... Still again then asked for our drink ... Was told had been really busy and if we came at 1.30pm we wouldn't have got a seat .. But we went at 3.00pm and there were lots of seats empty and we were still waiting for our canned drinks let alone the simple food order at 4.00pm ....Then finally ... The food arrived ... No complaints regarding food .Shame my afternoon plans were scuppered ... Don't think we will give it another try ...Location lovely ... Idea lovely ... Left feeling sad that yet again we were leaving feeling disappointed.

Excellent food and friendly service. The portions were filling and it was clear that thought and attention were given to preparing it well; even the children's food was proper (I'd have happily eaten it myself!) We found it a bit unusual that there were no local beers available, but there were several European options. All in all, an enjoyable dining experience, and one that I'd recommend and repeat.

Had a nice time here. Next to the canal so you can walk here if you like long walks. Free parking and decent staff. Soup was good and not over salted. Sandwich was with decent quality bread and filling was good. Nice coffee and nice place, worth a visit.Pretty relaxed and they have seating outside for summer. Not too expensive and has free WiFi as well.

Food was soo tasty, busy place, area outside overlooking the water, plenty of car spaces. I had the haggis and steak burger and my fiance had the Cajun chicken burger both with really tasty chips and dips. Couldn't fault it. 😀
