Canada Wood Kitchen and Bar in Falkirk

This place is a wee hidden gem that I wish I found sooner. Such friendly staff, lovely food and a good selection of cakes. Also very dog friendly. Great for before or after a venture down one of the many bike trails/walks. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very cute tucked away gem. Worth the visit. Lovely walks and secure bike paths. Cafe sells cooked food, cakes and coffees. 1 GF option for dessert but Lovely taste. Staff are friend. Modern decor. Dog friendly.

Nice location. Coffee is terrible, weak like dishwater, sent it back and a fresh one came just the same. Busy Sunday afternoon when we visited. Waiting staff in total disarray. Wandering around lost.

First visit today for breakfast. We had a big breakfast and Stornaway stack. Both were fantastic!! Food was fresh, hot and tasty and the tea and cake afterwards did not disappoint. Service was quick and attentive but not intrusive and it was a really nice touch from the staff to put a wee candle in my partner’s cake as I mentioned it was his birthday when I booked. Thoroughly enjoyed and we will be back to try lunch, dinner and probably breakfast again 😁

Great place for a breakfast. Kichen style lunches too. Bring your bike to enjoy the various cycle paths in the wood. Good idea to book to avoid waiting.

I wouldn't recommend this place to eat if you have dietary requirements. Nothing on the menu is labelled so you have to ask the server who then needs to ask the chef and then if you have more questions... they make it much harder than it needs to be. There aren't enough options for vegetarian/vegan either which is disappointing. The quality of the food is good and its a nice atmosphere, if they could just tweak the menu and make it more accessible it would be fantastic.

We arrived with a few friends after a couple of nights away camping and looking for breakfast. We didn't realise that we should have booked as really popular, we had just checked it was open. As we were discussing what to do and where to go, the waitress came out and offered to give us takeaways and we could sit outside under cover in the front garden. This worked really well and with our orders being taken and food being brought, it was as good service as being inside. The food was really good and coffee was great. A big thanks to the team for going the extra mile to look after our little group. Highly recommended it and we will make sure to book next time and look forward to returning here.
