La Gondola Fish and Chips in Falkirk

Got a delivery tonight (2 mins in the car) and what a regret that was!! 2 fish suppers were very soggy, chips were under cooked. Will definitely not be back! Went down hill big time!!!

Very friendly staff and delicious food, we had pizzas this time and was very good, drinks reasonably priced aswell

chelsea bentley ruins this store, she has a criminal record and she messes up all my orders. fire her immediately or i will take legal action.

Food was ok. Chips were a bit on the darker side. Main complaint is the way the staff are spoken to in front of customers. There is a time and place to reprimand staff and in front of customers is not one.

Lovely staff but the batter mix used here is simply not fit for purpose. Once cooked it resembles a soggy thick squidgy mess. If you're looking for that signature crispy chippy crunch I'd recommend going elsewhere.I suppose the red flag is this establishment also sells cigarettes, kebabs, pizza's, pick and mix etc. Given the lack of quality this gives me the impression the owners are just looking to make as much money they can get their greedy hands on. There's clearly no passion here, they're not interested in cooking good food in the slightest.

Foods pretty good but we always semm to have to wait they don't keep much prepared.

Best chippy in Grangemouth and can be very busy which tells you the locals like it! Hear they are moving premises to a larger unit in la Porte precinct which will allow you to sit down and have a meal.

I recently ordered a fish supper which was one of the worst I've ever had. The fish was slimy, discoloured and had an ammonia smell, and the batter was mushy. The chips were tasteless and undercooked. The mushy peas were done in the microwave. As I was waiting for my food I watched as the staff messed around behind the counter, putting more frozen fish in to fry. I would've taken it back had I lived closer, but having looked at the replies to some of these reviews I think it would've been a wasted effort regardless. They're a couple of quid cheaper than the Land and Sea and Benny T, but you get what you pay for with them as the food is always good quality and cooked well. This place is overpriced and a low standard, save your money.

Unfortunately have to give 1 star to write a review. Avoid this place, the food is below par and they charge a fortune. Not only that 9 times out of 10 the order arrives wrong. Thought we would give them another chance and it was yet again wrong. Asked for a child's smoked sausage with no salt or sauce and a pizza with not too much cheese on, order arrives the pizza was leaden with cheese and my sons dinner drowned in brown sauce! Now have an upset and hungry 6 y.o. Will not be ordering from them again, complete waste of money in my opinion.
