Advertised as Vegan availability,Numerous times we have travelled to be told the vegan area has been turned off early.Need to update the times to avoid wasting peoples time.

Perfect cod and chips great value great portion freshly cooked crisp and non greasy chips were delicious Well done be back soon

I went into shop 2 pleasant young girls on the counter I placed my order was given my receipt with my order number should have realised straight away I asked for chicken but they don't sell chicken (only nuggets) I waited for my order & waited & waited at least 20 mins before 1 part of my cooked to order was eventually made the other sat in the hot tray waiting.... I also asked for buttered rolls but they dont sell them either when I got home the fish batter looked overcooked even though there were egg timers on top of the fryers and the chips were very thin & crispy very few nice chips havent been there for years & it will be the 12th of never before I go back

The Best fish & chips we have had in such a very long time!! They even did mushy peas! Everything was crisp - not at all greasy - their battered sausages were so good. Everything was packaged in biodegradable/recyclable materials. Staff were friendly, efficient & courteous not only to customers but also to each other despite being very busy. It was an all round treat - but next time we are sharing - huge portions so be warned!!

Best chippy I know. Not greasy, fresh and tasty food. Great staff and as a bonus very little plastic in their takeaway containers.

Service is non existent.Went in for a bag of chips and waited, waited and waited for someone to take my order.To put this in perspective, there were more staff behind the counter, 7 in total than there was customers in the shop.5 counter staff all fumbling over each other and nobody there to take an order??What a joke.

It had been about 10 years since we visited Land & Sea and thought we would take a visit and treat ourselves as its not as close to where we live now, so disappointed. Initially on entrance you stick to the carpet YUK!! Card machine wasn't working so had to go and get cash. They cook by order nothing ready so you have to wait, so no changing your mind or adding anything extra as it won't be ready. On packing up the order i noticed the small fish suppers I ordered were in fact kids minis!! Nothing I could do but for £5 its very small. No salt & Vinegar!!! But could give me sachets!! Honestly. I really did want to tell them to forget it at this point. Wish I could say the taste far out weighed all the issues but chips were hard, portions small for what your paying. Will stick to my local chippy from now on!!

Waited a while food. Since the new ordering system it’s been a much longer wait for food decided to give it another try today (last time we had had to wait half an hour for 2 fish suppers and the time before that wasn’t any better). Over 20 min wait for one sausage supper. Everyone else in the que had been waiting a similar time or longer.

Good quality food and a good gluten free menu. Recently discovered I've got a gluten allergy so getting a chippy has been a bit of a worry but was really pleased with the menu. Will definitely be back.

Our family have used this shop for 25 years and it has mostly been great. Now that I'm on my own since losing my husband I regularly phone to order a small fish supper as a treat. The last few times I have noticed that the fish was extremely small but on Thursday 1st of April when opening on arriving home the fish was absolutely tiny. It is not a lie to say it took 3 bites to eat it!!! It wasn't even big enough to offer to a child. At £5.50 they should be ashamed as this is a total ripoff. In future I will find out what hours Benny T's in Lauriston are open and make the short drive there for my fish supper
