Lovely family run tea room. Owners lovely to chat too. Nice coffee and cake selection. They do gluten free food also. Very popular in local area. I enjoy visiting the cafe on a regular basis

We, a group of 7 Icelanders, popped into this cozy tearoom while visiting Falkirk and had the loveliest tea and scones. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy were both incredibly friendly and it's easy to see that they love their little tearoom very much. If you're looking to stop for some superb refreshments, you will be warmly welcomed there!

30 August 2018Jim was ever so cheerful and ever so inspiring. We had our eyes set on visiting the tearoom for a very long time but decided to save it for a special occasion. We were in first thing this morning celebrating my husband’s 43rd birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our cakes and tea/coffee. The tearoom has a lovely welcoming homely feel to it, and Jim made it an extremely enjoyable experience. This was well worth the wait. Thank you Jim for you outpouring kindness and your hospitality. We shall be back soon to see you again and hopefully get to meet the wonderful Debra.

Beautiful small family run tea room. Amazing for those with allergies. Both gluten and dairy free options above and beyond your standard chocolate brownies and soy alternative. Also does crafting sessions. Highly recommend and worth waiting for if no tables.

This tearoom on a hill is lovely. Debra and Jim are friendly and knowledgeable with regards to gluten, wheat and dairy. The cake options are amazing and Jim's gluten free bread helps make a great gf fish finger buttie.I love the crafting too, it's a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, you go in as a customer and leave as a friend.

Superb food and service. You can also learn a new craft or hobby in friendly surroundings. Great caked and scones all home made. Gluten free and some even egg free and delicious. What more could you want. Near to the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel too.

Incredible family run cafe. Food made to order, nothing is ever left on heat overcooking or drying out. Proper barista coffee machine. Cakes are all home made by Mrs Murphy herself, with gluten and dairy free options always available.

Mother Murphy's tearoom Ladysmill. Great tearoom good food good atmosphere. Their cakes are gluten and dairy free. Although I can eat anything made with gluten or dairy we eat whatever cake takes our fancy and they are all delicious. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons a craft coffee and cake get together takes place from 3pm - 4.30. Just for the price of a coffee and a cake you can bring along what craft you are working on be it crochet, sewing card making. It gives you a chance to meet others and share your skill and also learn from others with a different skill.

Ma Murphy's is a great little tearoom which is well worth seeking out. It is a little out of Falkirk centre but well placed if you are returning to the station after visiting The Kelpies. It is very nicely decorated and Jim and Deborah bake some lovely cakes and scones and do an interesting line in tascas (flatbread). Nothing is fried so there are no unseemly aromas although Jim produced a very good bacon roll with grilled bacon for me. As well as the usual beverages, decaffeinated filter coffee and redbush tea are available for those who wish to limit their caffeine intake.
