Nando's Falkirk in Falkirk

Myself and my friend went to Nandos's Falkirk for dinner on 3/4/22 and had a very unpleasant experience right from the start.When entering the restaurant we were refused entry due to having no masks (which we understand) as we had just simply forgotten to bring them. Afterpurchasing masks from a nearby shop and returning to the restaurant we were seated to then see that around 5 or 6 staff members who were in the kitchenwe're wearing their masks below their chin for the entirety of our visit.Additional to this, we watched multiple large groups enter the restaurant without masks and had been given seats. We are fully understanding of the mask requirements however if you're asking one person to wear a mask then surely you must ask all customers entering the building to also do so as well as your own staff who are cooking our food.Not only are the staff handling my food, but we were asked to find masks for a 2 second journey from the door to our table where we were able to take them off anyway and received table service the entire time so what was the purpose of refusing us for the sake of having a mask on for seconds?Lastly, when ordering our food we both ordered separate however placed our orders at the same time. I received my meal whilst my friend waited an additional 15 minutes to receive her food. So what was planned to be a meal together ended up with us eating at complete separate times. I have worked in fast food restaurants who deliver table service and from experience we were always advised to prepareall the food for one table at the same time so that this would not happen.We are very disappointed with our experience today, I have never received service like this from any nandos restaurant before and I will not be returning to the Falkirk restaurant.

We didn't get an opportunity to eat. We waited for over an hour outside to be told that someone else with the same name had got seated.

The food was okay to good. Careful - if you haven't been here before, note that the main is solely the main. For example, if you buy a burger, the burger and bun are the only thing on the plate! If you want fries or anything else you have to order them as a side dish and pay separately for each item. It can add up!

Dispute resolved. Sticking to my side of the bargain by removing my long winded spurious complaint however safe to say that I'll be thinking twice about using the local branch of Nandos next time I'm being lazy & ordering takeaway, thanks 👋

This rating is purely due to the fact you left a bunch of customers outside on one of the coldest evenings last week for over 20mins your restaurant had lots of empty tables, even with minimal capacity you could have allowed us to not be in the freezing cold ,it was not acceptable & 2 parties left & went to frankie & bennys inc ourselves, where we were seated immediately in the warmth.That was not an "amazing moment" or feeling.

I used to work at a nandos branch myself so Im aware of how its meant to run. Went to Nandos on Tuesday evening (7th December) to find a couple of very stressed staff members, the manager and host. The manager was busy taking calls while running about the restraunt trying to help people and doing most of the jobs even though there was 4 other people on floor. And the girl on host, I seen her running about doing runner, checkbacks, takeaways and cleaning tables aswell as sitting people. While the other staff members seemed unatentive to the situation. They were seen standing at the takeaway area talking or at co-ord talking. The food had arrived cold. Well done to the Manager and Host that night, kept it so it wasnt a shambles. I do think you need to retrain some of your staff.

Even though the Scottish guidelines said you could have up to 9 people, they refused us to sit as there was 7 of us and would not take over 6 people even though one was a child! Staff was not nice and they where arguing, so we just walked away, the place was empty at this time not even their busy time. Ridiculous 🙄

2 of the meals were lovely, 3rd meal wasn't as anticipated. Mash was chewy and burger didn't meet expectations. Staff were helpful and responsive, although had to ask for refill and never offered even when glasses were empty.

Horrible. The chips were underdone that theu were white, cold and mushy, the veggie burger was also undercooked to the point that the carrots in it were still crunchy. The tomato was underripe, green and crunchy, yet the lettuce and the avocado were old and BLACKENING and they left the small pit on one of my avocado pieces!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
