Unfortunately occupied the seats next to the open fire ( not lit ) and the draft from the door was really bad, changed seats and the draft from the front door was bad, third time lucky was OK and the staff were great 👍

Used to like a wee visit there on a Friday. And the food was really good .But it has recently changed hands .Since then the place seems to have gotten a lot quieter and ever time my husband has be there lately. He has left early because it is cold . I am no rush to a pub that is not cosy .

Was absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated on the 25th August 2021 I am a carer took a client out for lunch who had not been out for over a year , was approached and told we had to give our temperature or we would have to leave I asked for the manager and he said his manager told him that's what he was to do we were willing to do trace and track we were wearing masks never ever been discriminating against like this before anywhere I am disgusted we were asked to leave because we refused to get our temperature taken 😡😡😡 I made sure I got this on video and I will make sure as may people as possible will see this .

Good Prices and a lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful service. Had a good lunch and food was lovely with quick service although it was quiet.Pub offers live music and frequent updates for sports on multi screen tvs. Toilets are upstairs but in good condition and although parking isn't readily available the abundance or free parking is only about 100m stroll away. Would visit again and although some of the seating etc is showing wear and tear everything looks to be clean. Due a revamp so shall see what it looks like once done

Poor looking menus on shabby beer stained paper could fool You, this place has tasty and exiting food. The portions are great, and staff are lovely.

Great to see the pipes from the organ still in pride of place. Nice fish 'n' chips with 2 fish. Worth a stop but take ear plugs as the Juke box has some awful sounds.
