Trumperton Forge tearoom in Falkirk

My wife and I had not been here for a while but we're recognised as ex regulars when we went in. Very courteous and helpful staff, and a great range of home made food and cakes. Top marks. Norman

So sorry to hear that Trumperton Tearoom will close permanently from end of October 2019. What a loss of a great institution. Can no one find a way to keep it going? I can understand the owner retiring after 30 years, but could the lovely staff not take over somehow ?

was in today and as usual very polite and helpful staff.fantastic selection of food whether you want a light bite or a little more.pancakes are delicious especially smeared with obviously home made raspberry jam.hard to beat in comparison to places that serve little plastic containers with tasteless syrup they call jam.one comment I will make is that they advertise as forfar.if they advertise as Letham people would find it easier to locate.perhaps they should have a wider area of signs to guide people to this fantastic gem of a place

Lovely country cafe with small outdoor play area. I highly recommend the mushroom soup- delicious! A real authentic flavour experience. Very friendly staff too.

Great little cafe and tea room. Had the mushroom soup and it was spectacular. Smoked salmon sandwich also very good. My wife had a smoked salmon baked potato and also really enjoyed it. Coffee was meh, but I understand that ordering coffee in a tea room is probably a bad idea.

Tasty fresh food served by friendly efficient staff in quaint surroundings. Outside seating and parking available. Nice view over countryside. Wheelchair accessible including toilet.

Very nice soup and a sandwich. Make sure you bring cash as they don't takes debit or credit cards.

Lovely little coffee shop. Nice scones, cakes etc , really clean.
