Best fish and chips I've ever had. EVER Definitely be back, we travelled from Perth just to taste them and weren't disappointed!!!

·

Best fish and chips we've ever had, not to mention fantastic prawns and great ice cream!

·

The service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the scenery was amazing. Will definitely go back soon!

Stopped off for dinner after a birthday walk on the beach. Last time we were here was the last outing we had with our old dog, so tinged with a bit of sadness, but as always the food was top notch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The fish is as fresh as can be. The batter is light and fluffy and the chips are crisp on the outside, light and fluffy inside.Basically perfect fish and chips. Can't wait to go back again soon.

·

The food was tasty, with reasonable prices. The sausages were smaller than we had hoped, but were nice. The ice cream was delicious. The Irn Bru flavour, especially. Irn Bru flavoured things are always a risk, but this is the best I've had by far.

·

Great food, amazing light batter on the fish. Couldn't have had better. A bit of a wait once you're in but that's to be expected with how busy it was (Saturday evening). We ate in. Good prices.

Wife had the fish as recommended to her, me being contrary I went for the red pudding supper. A mistake on my part, I don't have a great sense of taste and all I could taste was salt 😏 so the dog got most of mine. Can't fault the restaurant though, everything made fresh to order, the batter was excellent as were the chips, and the home made tartare sauce was amazing, according to the wife, it being wasted on me. 😃

This place has won many awards over the years, and while I do agree that the fish and chips are excellent, I have had better. The portion is huge - you get a fish and a half! And the chips are cooked perfectly, but the batter slightly let it down for me. During Covid, for take away, you have to order and queue up outside, but the service is still friendly and relatively fast. There are still seats inside the restaurant.

·

The taste of that battered fish and chips is unique, you can actually taste the fish, really nice, I would go back with no doubt. We had it to take away as it was a sunny day and we enjoyed watching the boats.

THE BEST FISH & CHIPS in the land if not the WORLD highly recommended! The fish is amazing its fresh and cooked perfectly not overcooked. The fish is so soft it flakes off and the batter is nice and crispy with a crunch. Just walking up to the restaurant makes your mouth Water! Be prepared to wait in a queue its always busy and that's a good sign. The staff are really friendly and take the time to help you out. They also do ice cream and sweets they are a real treat after a great meal. 👍
