The owner gives you the feeling he is being inconvenienced by having to serve you. He was dressed with open toed sandals when serving you which is not the most pleasant view. There was no hot water at night, when I asked about this I was told to run the hot water tank. The following morning water there was no water at all. This guy makes Basil Fawlty look like Barron Hilton

Always a great welcome and, although a few years since last visit, still the same pleasant ambiance.

Might just be my experience, not customer focused, not sure if they understand the concept of hospitality.

A good beer garden, but the service was quick but served by a rather dull personality.

Friendly staff, fun place to be. Favourite of ours for 2 generations now.

Gotta love this cozy place. By the time you leave you'll feel sad that you did not have more time there with the owners. They make you feel very comfortable. They are extremely hospitable and eager to please. The food is amazing! Debbie (the owner) is a great Chef.

Nice quiet hotel in a lovely village location. Very accommodating for our baby with cot and highchair. Good parking onsite. Bed a bit low.

Very friendly and helpful owners and kind staff. Room clean and airy with television and tea/coffee facilities. Very good breakfast and good food. Ample and free parking spaces. Nice games room and bar. WIFI not so good. We come back every year and are happy to stay.

I was there attending a domino semi final match. Sandwiches supplied were tasty and varied. Service was good although a little over priced for drinks.

Nice little quiet pub and hotel. But bar man/ owner is as dull as a p45. Never felt relaxed at all during our visit. A corisma bypass required..
