Very mediocre. Appreciate it’s a farm kitchen but asked for vegetarian version of eggs benedict (eggs florentine) and they couldn’t comprehend this request, just had plain without the bacon or salmon options in the end. Unfortunately it was expensive, stodgy, with overcooked cold eggs and no side leaves or equivalent to cut through any of it. Very nice coffee though.

Great place to eat and and a great farm shop with lots of lovely local produce. We had a late lunch of great soup and probably the best cheese scone ever😅The food looks fantastic and everyone I know recommends this place.Lovely staff and a clean and safe atmosphere. We bought some meat in the butchers shop and the butchers were very helpful with cooking tips. Will definitely be back..... I hear the food in the Steak Barn is excellent👍

Had a lovely lunch here today. My lovely friend had Welsh rarebit, which looked great and Cajun chicken focaccia was delish. Was at the Steak Barn the other week though and it gets a solid 5 stars. Great food, atmosphere, happy staff 🙂

Breakfast. One full breakfast - excellent. Two Eggs Benedict - cold. Replacements“warm” but eggs overcooked like hard boiled eggs. Disappointing as usually very good.

Excellent quality food and friendly staff. I came here for lunch and I ordered the citrus cured Scottish salmon - delicious! There were two cute highland cows at the front of the café as you drive in. Overall great experience.

Love the cafe. Friendly and attentive staff. Farm shop is great too. Recommend the jams and chutneys. The eggs are tasty too. Has a fantastic butchsrs selling the meat from their own local farms.

By far, this is one of my favourite restaurants to eat at for breakfast 🥞, lunch 🥗 or dinner 🍽. This farm to table restaurant, farm shop, butcher, cafe, steak 🥩 barn, and flower 🌺 shop is conveniently located, beautifully situated outside of St. Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife. There is plenty of parking spots available. Sometimes getting seated to eat takes a few moments, but the wait is well worth it. I love to stop in for the freshly prepared soup 🥣, hard bread 🥖 and a coffee ☕️. The desserts 🍪🍰 are indulgent and a definite must! Whenever possible, the expert team of chefs use home grown, home reared and locally sourced produce. This fresh food is good for the soul. The prices £££ are reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting St. Andrews. COVID RESTRICTIONS...Sadly, due to the Scottish Government level four guidelines, the cafe is currently open for takeaway, hot drinks, bacon 🥓 rolls, and baked treats.

Great family dining and spoiled for choice for fresh meat and local fruit and vegetables. The steak barn is superb and craft gin, beer and beautiful wines are top notch.

A great stop right outside of St Andrews. The farm shop has a wide selection of high quality local produce and drinks as well as home decor items and a bar, restaurant, cafe and flower shop. All the details and decor feel very well thought out and the produce carefully selected. It can be pricey but generally good quality. The staff are very welcoming as well.

A wonderful provisions store that we unfortunately found late in our weeklong trip to St. Andrews. All of the meat and produce are fresh and reasonably priced. And the Steak Barn is phenomenal. They cook the steaks over large, hot charcoal fires - a classic style. We will come back here the next time we’re in Scotland.
