Bistro Du Vin in Fife

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, and in generous portions, for prices comparable to pub food. Hotel & restaurant staffs are very cheerful, diligent, and accommodating.

Great location and setting. Unfortunately let down by the service. My Soupe d'Oignons was delicious enough, but barely above lukewarm temperature which ruined the flavour and made the melted Gruyere cheese rubbery.My wife's Tartiflette starter was very flavourful, but unfortunately instead of her Beef Bourguignon she was served a Vegetarian one. The mistake took so long to rectify that I had long finished my main by the time she received her correct order.And we weren't the only dissatisfied Customer on this Saturday evening.I don't think we'll be going back to this Bistro ! 😕

Sadly very unimpressed with food here ... the ambient was great, starter and dessert was good. Bread was delicious but the mains were really bad. The meat that was used was bad quality. Disappointed.

Spent 8 days here and enjoyed it all. Very good restaurant. Breakfast is terrific. All the staff is great..Alastair & Lynn at front office..Joanne morning breakfast & Thomas at dinner.Quaint bar, back yard patio, room service and nice rooms( not big, but very nice).300 yards to the old course 1st tee & 18th Green. Easy walk to everything St Andrew's...

Fab location, fab food and amazing service

A bistro with very nice atmosphere and food. I ordered lamb, sole, and mussels. All were perfectly cooked. The servers were also very nice and friendly.

Visited here with an Itison voucher for a cream tea with a glass of prosecco. We were very impressed with the scones and cakes as well as the service.
