While I had great service & enjoyed my time here to get home and check my receipt was a shock. £2.25 for 1 slice of toast and a piece of butter is extortion. No wonder it isn’t on the menu when you can get a filled meal roll for £3.It Leven Not London

Came across this Farm shop restaurant about two years ago, and it impressed my friend and I. It had plenty of parking, it was clean and modern, toilets clean, tidy and well stocked, pleasant and helpful staff and above all, lovely food which was tasty, fresh, well priced and good quality. I returned there today for lunch, to find it open (after all of the Covid shutdowns) and found it to be exactly as my first experience was two years ago. A sign at the entrance/exit indicates that it is closed on Sundays and is supported by a biblical verse. There's a great message for us all within this sign. We'll worth the visit and I'll be back.

Lovely place with very nice staff. Great value for money. Leads a lot of other similar cafes by a mile in service and generous servings.

Decided to drive here from Edinburgh to treat my friend ( who has a disability) for her birthday as part of a weekend get away- desperately dossapointed...There was no staff to welcome us or discuss seating etc. It was busy and hectic. I could see there were no tables available in immediate vicinity but vacant places through glass doors. I had to go and find staff to ask if we could go through and sit.. to be told flatly no- and she walked away. I approached another staff member about availability and told it was busy and if there were no seats- I could wait or sit outside- . The only 2 tables outside were occupied.. it was very blustery so didn't want to sit outside anyway... there was a pile of tables and chairs stacked up...not set out...we decided to walk around the shop and return- only to find a longer queue and people complaining that they had left their name to reserve a table - we weren't offered that option.. but people were walking in and sitting at rables with used dishes etc- so no sterile covid guidelines being followed. .dossapointed and won't be back.

Well stocked farmshop selling fresh locally produced fruit and vegetables. Low rating due to experience in cafe/restaurant. 'Vegan/vegetarian menu not something they've thought about! ' Opted for baked potato and salad. Charged £6 same price if added on meat chilli, cheese and salad. The chef/staff can do better by being more inclusive and updating menu choices for customers. This place advertises simple food. It's so easy to make a vegetable chilli and offer vegan cheese or beans!

Very nice place to stop lots of lovely fresh farm produce and goodies in the shop. We had a cuppa and cake, custard cream was very nice and I'm fussy about my custard creams 😋. We bought some of the lemon shortbread and sampled this morning definitely worth a try. Lovely staff too.

Lovely stop surrounded by countryside. Fresh vegetables and scrummy café snacks, including their "smiley" black pudding in Lorne sausage breakfast bap (currently being trialled)

A lovely place for a number of activities there is a farm shop which seemed reasonable priced and serves fresh fruit and veg, has a butchers and all other kinds of treats.A cafe is next which serves a selection of hot and cold good. There is a good selection of kids food and drinks too. Ice cream is available with a variety of flavours and tasted great whilst being cheap enough. Seating is currently outside. There is a sizable kids play park outside which has picnic tables to bring any food from the cafe over. The strawberry picking is great value and great quality. Be aware you do need to book in advance for this.Parking is fairly easy especially with the overflow section being open and toilets are available inside.
