Just been for something to eat with my husband had a lovely meal

Normally I give five stars but although the service was good and the food was nice the portion was about half the size I would have expected. What went wrong?A tiny portion of rice and about half a portion of chick pea curry, .not an expensive dish to make.This puts me off going back there.

For some reason, my original review displayed as two stars. This was an error. 4/5 stars is more appropriate. Great Sunday lunch, relaxed with excellent friendly staff. Have not been disappointed in several visits.

Visited here twice recently, with different family members, for lunch on Christmas Eve and then dinner on Christmas Day. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The quality of the food was excellent. The only note I'd make was that it could have been hotter from the carvery on Christmas Day. But it still tasted lovely. Always a good choice on the menu and the Festive and Christmas Day ones were no different.The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. All restrictions for social distancing were observed from facemasks to seating arrangements.The building was warm without being stuffy so my Mum was toasty, a very important consideration as those with older relatives will know, without me or my partner being uncomfortably hot.It's also fairly accessible in terms of space if Mum had needed to bring her walker. She opted not to this time but it would have been easy enough to navigate the area with it.Prices are on par with most other similar establishments, probably slightly cheaper in fact. The premises are easy to find, just off the main Glenrothes-Kirkcaldy road, and there is plenty of parking. Would highly recommend.

Really good atmosphere, food was actually very well made and presented for the price, portions were large and staff friendly and helpful. We booked in advance so got shown straight to our table on arrival. Prices were very reasonable and plenty of options to choose from both food and drink, we went for dinner however the breakfast and lunch menus looked great too. Child friendly but also very adult friendly with an area that seemed to be segregated for adults. Definitly a place we will be back to.

Great meal last night, not a fan of the order at the bar system, waiting around to place food order. One criticism though was the lack of any background music at all, even some Christmas music would have been nice atmosphere.Service was great, menu great, quality of the food great. We’ll definitely be back, but please sort out the music….

The food here was good. The food was brought to me in a good amount of time, and I had enough time between courses not to feel rushed out of the door compared to previous similar locations . I enjoyed my Roast Turkey Dinner. The staff were very kind and helpful to me offering recommendations, and advising me what was/wasn't available whilst working hard to manage a large party booking at the same time.Not too sure about the Christmas decorations though. The shadows from the dangling baubles constantly waving on the plate was a bit uncomfortable.

Good food and service the staff are always happy to help you out.

Love it here! Regular customer missed it through the lockdown but managed a few visits in between lockdown easing. Can't wait to get back so booked up already! Had a few birthday meals here good food at great prices and always consistent, customer service is always great, very friendly staff and good play area for kids!!
