"We are a family run garden centre which was established in 1986. We have a great selection of ceramic pots, compost, trees, shrubs, ornaments, weed killers, fertilizers. We also renowned for the amount of seed potatoes which we stock in January. We always try and get over 100 varieties. We also have The Gardeners Rest Cafe so after a walk around the garden centre you can have a cake and cuppa."

Very helpful and happy to include the dog at one of their two dog tables but do book in advance for this.Good sized portions and efficient service. Let down by the quality of some of the ingredients which could be better and slightly overcooked.Overall a good place to stop and eat but a little way to go to achieve the perfect breakfast.

The breakfast was absolutely excellent, top quality. The haggis and black pudding were the best I have had. Everything was cooked to perfection. I had the large breakfast for £9.95; at first I thought it was a bit expensive compared to other places but it was certainly worth that based on quantity and quality.

Had a lovely lunch. Cakes are delicious. Well impressed with cleanliness, girls cleaning chairs and tables to a lot better standard to some of the places we have visited, were they just give the table a quick wipe over with the same cloth. Xx

Used to love eating here when it was the tranquillity cafe. Unfortunately it is not as good now. I had the steak pie and while the steak was nice it was in a water like 'gravy' which made quite a lot of the chips soggy. The chips were not that good ... bog standard oven chips. The fish and chips small portion..which is still £7 was tiny! Also pretty greasy. Really sad cause I used to love eating here.

Great food, brilliant coffee and service with a smile with really decent prices. The restaurant is very chic and modern after a recent revamp... would definitely recommend it!

A bit basic decor but wonderful cakes and coffee on offer. Table service too. Finding the car park is an adventure though. Confusing to say the least.
