Was in local area so dropped in to order a takeaway. I ordered prawn toast, honey and chilli king prawns and banana fritter. Best Chinese I have had in a long time, fresh tasty nice size portions and I had a lot of king prawns in my dish which was lovely. I will be back definitely recommend.

Visiting Markinch staying in the caravan site at Balbirnie and fancied a Chinese for tea. Phoned the shop to ask what if any vegan options there were, the young girl on the phone was dead helpful, talked me through their menu, and when I went in to order was able to clarify the further food we ended up ordering. The salt and pepper chips were incredible (everything else was brilliant too). Really appreciated them taking the time to talk through the options, and the food was amazing 😋

Given current circumstances a long wait is expected, when we ordered our food the expected delivery time was adjusted by 30 minutes to take the wait to 2 hours from the time we ordered which we thought was reasonable. However, 3 hours later there was no sign of our food and we had no updates from restaurant. I understand the restaurant was very busy but would have really appreciated an update or a phone call to let us know our food would be late. When we called ourselves after the 3 hour wait (food currently 1 hour late) we were told it was being cooked just now. There seem to be a lot of reviews on here as of late saying delivery time was much later so the restaurant must know they have a problem. An adjustment to the expected delivery time upon order should be done, to a much more realistic time to prevent customers from getting upset. When the food did eventually arrive it was piping hot and our order was correct. The kung po chicken was delicious, best I've found in Glenrothes so far but the chicken balls and fried rice were a little lack luster. There was also no apology at the door for the late delivery. It's a shame because the food was actually quite nice but I feel that customer service and communication needs a little work. Will order again now that we know what to expect and sincerely hope that they are able to sort out their current issues as we love a Chinese takeaway and are grateful to the restaurant for working through these difficult times.

Waited 2 hours for a order, then was told that there was a delay and our order was on its way, a hour later called back and was told that our order was still waiting to be delivered! Then the Chinese woman slammed the phone down on me!3 hours! Shocking and defiantly won’t be ordering from them again, so off to bed with no dinner!Thing is I’ve ordered from here before and the food is usually decent but the service leaves a lot to be desired.Better luck with some other poor soul chopsticks.I will defiantly never be back.

I put in for a food takeaway through justeat for £42.30 it was meant to be delivered to my address but it never arrived. That was at 5pm on the 27/0420. I have contacted the restaurant and they have said it was delivered to another address. And that someone called the restaurant to change the address me and my family never called them to change the address I think they have forgot about it and are telling me lies. I have contacted the police and justeat. All I want is a refund for the food I never received

Ordered on the Just Eat App and clearly stated that it was delivery only. Made and paid for our order, it did state delivery was take a bit longer. After an hour and forty minutes no delivery. Phoned Chopsticks to query our order only to say that they'd not recieved our order, then told them that the money had left our account and had confirmation and that our order was on its way, then only to be told it was collection only after clearly stating that it was delivery only. In the end I had to go and collect our order.Do not order from these ametures...

Do not order if you would like to have your meal in the same evening !Given the current situation I expected a longer wait for delivery, but it is currently 3 hours later and still no food. when I phoned to find out what was going on after waiting two hours I was told it could take up to another hour as they had taken to many orders and had 11 more to make up before ours ! First time ordering and never again.
