By chance we stopped by on our travels and were quickly welcomed by the friendly staff. Food was great, reasonably priced and they were very accommodating to our almost 2 year old. Would definitely recommend - I was only sorry we didn't have time to stay for dessert.

Fantastic food, one of the very best salmon tagliatelle I've ever had, creamy, lovely texture and fantastically tasty. Will come back to try the other dishes next time I'm here.Well done to the chef and the waiting staff there, highly recommended.

Enjoyed the festive menu...3 courses for £19.95. 8 of us(Two glasses book group ) were well looked after !

·

A bit expensive but very good italian food. The food may take longer to be served compared with other places so be ready to order some starters if really hungry.

One of the best if not the best Tiramisu I have ever had. Tasty cappuccino too. Lovely peaceful atmosphere, spacious feel and overall very relaxing ambience. Lovely to find Ciao Italia and even lovelier to be presented with the dessert and coffee menu when I was just looking for a cafe to have a coffee.

My partner and I have eaten in a lot of Italian restaurants in the East of Scotland and this is one of the best. Eaten pizza, pasta and carne and it was all well cooked, great quality and extremely tasty. The staff are excellent and the wine list whilst not large has some excellent reds which are not overpriced for the areas they are from. The Salice Salentino is our favourite. Overall 4.5 stars is a better reflection than the 4 we could give it on the rating system.

The food is authentic italian and the best I've had in Dunfermline and on par with the very best Italian restaurants in Edinburgh. This is exactly the kind of restaurant that I have been in search of since moving to Dunfermline.Food - We tried the lunch time menu first which offers exceptional value for money. The portions are generous and the attention to detail is in no way compromised. The food is always full of flavour and perfectly seasoned including the side salads. Perfect! I would highly recommend the smoked salmon starter. My wife and I have now worked our way through most of the lunch time menu and can honestly say that every dish is a winner. We have also now visited on an evening and ordered from the main menu. There is a large choice of starters and maim. I ordered the steak which was tender and cooked exactly as ordered (medium). Again the potatos and vegetables served with the steak were seasoned to perfection and full of flavour, unlike other itialian restaurants in dunfermline where the veg is treated as an after thought. The choice of deserts are good, and as expected they offer homemade tiramasu which is very nice and very well presented. They clearly have a passion for food which is evident on watching the chefs gathering in the kitchen one lunch time with the manager and a look of delight on there faces as they sampled a new creation of beef stacked on a parmasan potato gratan surrounded with mushrooms. I am excited to try it when it reaches the menu. The service is also excellent and the house red is very nice as well.If you havent guessed already I would highly recommend a vist for lunch or an evening meal in a very plessant well decorated restaurant.
